They failed my MOT due to an issue with the windscreen washer. When I asked what the issue was (I'm a new driver and I know sweet FA about car mechanics), I was given a vague answer about not enough water to clean the windscreen. Was told it might be the pump, might be the reservoir, or it could be something else. The test certificate didn't shed much light either, just said 'windscreen washer not working'. They made no effort to help me any further, or advise me of their services.
So, I took the car to another local garage to assess the situation and was informed that the pump was blocked and the blockage was removed in less time and money than it took to do the actual MOT.
As a new driver, a better explanation would've been helpful as well as some advice on how they can help me fix the issue - which they could've done on site had they bothered to find out why the water flow was insufficient in the first place.
The other garage advised me that they would've checked this during the MOT and would've fixed it on the spot, without the need to issue a failed certificate - as it was such a quick and easy fix. The other garage also said Kwik Fit are known for failing vehicles over minor issues (allegedly), when other garages would just repair the defect.
Lesson learned! I won't be returning to Kwik Fit.

I do not recommend this branch. Unfortunately, when I agreed a like for like replacement tyre for my car, I collect it only to find a cheaper tyre has been fitted instead. Unfortunately, the branch of Kwik fit that I know are open and honest with me did not have availability so I had no choice but to bring my car here. Avoid.

There was a bit of confusion over which tyres were changed. Ultimately it?s worked out OK but everything felt a little rushed, which is why the slight error occurred.
