I love the Surrey Street market. And I know there are sellers who can be rude at times but today was worse one man has written Joseph on his stall I went to buy plantains. There were few on the table and some in the box that was opened. With permission I asked if I could get it from the box and he said yes. The man then said to me I can only buy the top ones , I should not remove some from beneath I said to him I thought I was buying so I can choose the ones I want. He then told me I'm mannerless. I'm like how there you where do you know me from. I have never felt so insulted in my life.

A lively market gem! ? Always something special, like fresh tender coconuts in summer and unique sugarcane juices. The owner's super friendly, and it's a must-visit for us. Whether it's the vibrant atmosphere or the fresh veggies and fruits, this place always leaves us with a smile! ????

You get all types of vegetables, even Indian vegetables and fruits.For fruits, select it carefully. Half of it will be rotten, and it will not be visible.

Always make a point of visiting when I?m in Croydon. Lovely fried breakfast and proper cuppa tea. Friendly staff and good mix of punters.
