Being a Diamond member, I would like to write about my stay in Hampton by Hilton Hotel in croydon, My stay was not planned before arrival and I had an emergency that made me stay the night in London, It is a good cost hotel with good service. The rooms are small but ok for sleep. The breakfast has good variety, I would like to thank Mr Manoj, he was very professional and helped my kids without ask. And brought me vegetarian sausages as he realised that other meat not halal and We can?t eat. Front desk team are Exceptional staff welcoming and polite. And I would like to thank specially Mrs Garima.Walkability: Perfect location, hotel is near to metro station and has a garage in front of it with reasonable 24 hour price, beside it a supermarket.

We stayed at the Hampton by Hilton, Friday-Sunday. We did not have the best experience!Arrived around 7pmFriday- Room One - safe did not work, moved room.Friday-Room two- dirty bedding, stains and hair attached to bathroom wall along with unclean tiles, door to bathroom broken/damaged and what looks like frosted glass in the picture- but is a damaged widow. Manger tried to convince us it was a feature of the room, by the time you have seen as many rooms as we had, we knew it wasn?t.(see attached images).Saturday- Room three- bathroom lock not working (see image) shower when on going from warm to extremely hot to cold. Again not good for a 2 year old!. Along with floor 7 smelling of cannabis, we had to sleep with our window open, and my Two year old, constantly saying ?what is that smell?I spoke to reception throughout the stay, they came and verified the smell of cannabis and staleoil smell around the lift area, and room issues, resulting in 3 room changes.On the morning of Sunday I asked to speak to the manager, who agreed all the issues were experienced were not acceptable, but is only able to give 20% off the next stay. I explained I would not be staying here again and this is not what I expected from the Hilton chain.My wife and I both felt we weren?t being heard and he came across as very entitled, as if he was doing us a favour, with no meaningful actions- he said he understood our frustration, but we should have said more, and it was our fault in not continuing to raise the issues.Like many people we go way to treat ourselves, not to complain!I again worry he feels 3 room changes is acceptable?This was a very very disappointing experience - only positives were the vegetarian sausages (I was told they were made fresh by the chef).I looking at trip advisor this hotel has some good reviews, I wonder how genuine they are? Hilton I am very disappointed!The manager also cleverly said his name, but never wrote it down for us (we asked a few times), saying he would follow it up with an email, over 24hrs still waiting for his email!

Een groot hotel direct naast het station, maar zonder geluidsoverlast. Op 15 minuten van Gatwick Airport en 15 minuten van Victoria Station per trein. Supermarkt op de hoek en vijf minuten van restaurants. Tien minuten lopen van een groot, gedeeltelijk overdekt winkelcentrum met alle bekende winkelketens en een groente en fruitmarkt. Alles rolstoeltoegankelijk. Diverse bushaltes rondom het hotel.Dat het een groot hotel is merk je niet, het personeel begroet je alsof ze iedereen persoonlijk kennen. Heel leuk. De kamers zijn erg netjes en voorzien van een ruime kledingkast met kluisje, strijkplank en strijkijzer en föhn. De waterkoker en koffie/thee faciliteiten zijn verwerkt op een richel onder de tv aan de muur om ruimte te besparen. Slim, het is tenslotte een stadshotel. Enorm pluspunt in dit hotel: de hoeveelheid wandcontactdozen !! Heel prettig met alle oplaadbare apparatuur.Schoonmaak was top. Niets op aan te merken. Zowel de kamer als de overige ruimtes zijn keurig netjes.Ontbijt is inclusief en er staat in de beschrijving dat er Engels ontbijt is. Dus: scrambled eggs, baked beans, worstjes, bacon. Maar er is ook: cereal, fruit (appel/banaan), yoghurt, wafels, koffiebroodjes, croissants, gesneden fruit (annanas/appel/druif) toast (wit/bruin).*Het hotel is ook heel strikt met allergenen.Indien ze dit tijdig doorkrijgen zullen ze hier rekening mee houden. Ze zijn goed op de hoogte met kruisbesmetting en bereiden bv de glutenvrije toast in de keuken.Glutenvrij ontbijt is mogelijk. Wel even doorgeven vóór aankomst.

Genuinely had such a lovely experience here. Staff are all lovely, especially Manoj. He went above and beyond for us. Lovely hotel, thank you.Rooms: Very up to standards. Lovely setup.Walkability: Really close the the train station and lots of shops nearby.

I was stayin last summer on this hotel with my girlfriend and the kid and i booked this hotel for 4 days as it was my birthday and the day after my girlfriend birthday so we choosed to stay at this hotel for this little vacation time .. where i can start starting with the receptionists the rudest ignorant non educated people i ever seen in my lifeThe asian lady down there clearly i dont know who she is but she was a total awful personAnd the room aswell as that time was summer time they was turning the AC of from down there and we literally being boiling inside there and when for 4 days over there i think we changed 4 times the room and this conversation being going back and forth for all the time over there and the day i was leaving i ask to talk with the manager of the hotel and guess what they brought someone from the kitchen i think or the maid of the hotel to act as manager and the most disgusting thing that when i called costumer service for compensation and to complain for that they told me that they charged me 100£ from my account cause i being smoking on the room and they was having evidence of it and when i clearly asked for that they send me a pic of 1 cigarette bud but the thing is that im non smoker and the most important thing my kid is with asthma and plus how the freak i can smoke inside the hotel room when i was staying on the second floorSoo this is 1 of the most worst staying i ever being in a hotelThey need to change the whole stuff if they still there and plus the people on the costumer serviceNever ever gonna go again over there

We had a very nice and comfortable stay here. All the staff warmly welcomed us and they are all very approachable, kind and helpful especially France, Garima and Manoj, they made our stay extra special.. Thank you for your hardwork and will definitely book in this hotel again.. highly recommended???..Safety: We felt safe inside the hotel.Walkability: Near to train station, tram, food areas..Food & drinks: Breakfast is excellent. Servers makes an extra effort to help us in any way. They are the best staff in hilton.. They are very accommodating. Thank you.

That sounds awkward but I came to Croydon for some work and I was thinking about the book a room in Hampton and I am Hilton employee anyway and I came inside and asked the reception Chinese lady that wheres the toilet and she said that?s only for guests. I said I work for Hilton. She says the owner Stop us. And that?s completely against the statutory right. Well, good luck with the service?

Had the opportunity to spend two nights at Hampton Hilton with my Partner our stay was very good the room was very nice and clean no complaints at all. Breakfast not to our satisfaction the bacon was very salty also the sausages apart from that no problems whatsoever. Will definitely stay there again as the price was good too. The staff are all pleasant and warm always at hand if you need any assistance. Definitely 5 stars for us all the way.....

Rooms was very clean, staff were lovely and location is good. Room 906 is right beside the door that leads to the lift, as it is a self close door it was banging closed all night and early morning every time someone went to the lift, they really need to look at fixing so that it closes quietly but other than that I cant really find fault.It was great to be able to open a window and let fresh air in to the room instead of haviing to have air conditioning on all through the night.There is a multi story car park directly opposite which is very convenient however no discount available for guests.
