Brought my car here after another local garage failed to notice a serious fault with my Peugeot 3008. Staff were informative, courteous and work completed in a fast manner. Would certainly return. Customer waiting area could be made to be more welcoming. Currently I wouldn't choose to wait there but maybe thats the point?

Took my car here to have air-conditioning re-gassed after. being told from another local company that it had a leak. Halfords found no leak, was a bit cheaper too! I had to leave the car there and go back to collect a few hours later. They also informed me I needed 2 new front tyres soon. I knew this from my MOT but great to know they had the safety of my car in mind. Great service, highly recommend!

Jimmy was super helpful. He did a great job on the car and provided great customer service too. I have used this place many times and would thoroughly recommend. On previous visits the work has always been done well but the customer service hasn't been brilliant. This time however I was looked after by Jimmy who was a delight to deal with and deserves a promotion!

Ben and the team have got this centre running like a fine tuned motor.
Great experience after the nightmare I had at national tyres Redhill last week.
1 hour to fit 4 new tyres (speedy) , great atmosphere and decent people working there.

Outstanding Service at Halfords Autocentre ? 9 Stafford Road, Croydon
I had my car serviced yesterday and the experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish.Jimmy at the front desk was friendly, professional, and made everything so easy and stress-free. He kept me well-informed throughout the whole process and provided excellent customer service with a smile. Daniel, the technician who worked on my car, did a fantastic job ? the service was thorough, efficient, and my car is running like new. I didn't get to meet Daniel but picked his name from the Vehicle Health Report that Jimmy emailed to me when I collected my car on completion. It's so refreshing to receive honest, top-quality service. Both Jimmy and Daniel went above and beyond, and I?m genuinely grateful. I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend this branch to anyone looking for a reliable and professional car service. I will be taking my vehucle back to have the 2 front tyres fitted end of the month. Thank you, Halfords Stafford Road team!

I've always had positive experiences with this Garage. Last year I was able to book an MOT/Service with collect and delivery added on for £19.99 This was enormously helpful. However, this year I was told this was only available for fleet bookings. Very disappointed, but nevertheless I'm still happy with the service offered at this Autocentre. I can definitely recommend.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the interim service I received at your centre on 7th March 2025.
Approximately two months after the service, my car?s dashboard displayed a ?Charge the oil? warning, which suggests the oil change service was not properly completed or reset. This raises concerns about the quality and professionalism of the work carried out.
When I called your centre to address the issue, the person at the reception cut the call while I was still speaking. I had to call back and go through the hassle of rebooking an appointment. Upon visiting the next day, I was again met with unprofessional behaviour. The same individual informed me that if the issue recurs, I would have to come back again, which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
This entire inconvenience could have been avoided if the technician had properly reset the oil change function during the original service. It?s a basic step that should be part of any interim service.
As a paying customer, I expect professional service and respectful communication.

Took my car for an MOT which it unfortunately failed on a few minor issues.
The guys there were really helpful and booked me in to fix it the next day and then re did the MOT so it passed. I will be going back there to do my service and have a few other bits looked it. It's hard when you don't know much about cars other than how to drive them, you worry that mechanics will take liberties. I didn't feel this way here and knew I was getting a reputable service.
