I am just from my 4 wheel alignment booking with this garage. My car was pulling left before I took it to them, transfered this information to them, they told me they will check it and return back to me. They called me to inform all is done and the car is ready to be collected. When I went to the garage and requested my wheel alignment report but they failed to produce my report. I took my car and had a test run, It was still pulling left eventhough I have been told all issues have been fixed for me.

Not impressed at all. After changing the brakes, they now make a strange noise. They also failed to fully diagnose an engine problem. Communication via phone and email has been terrible - I've given up trying to contact them and gone to another garage. I will definitely avoid Halfords in future - the Brakes4Life cover is therefore useless.

This place should be close and people who work in there should be prosecuted.Its a joke,bunch of amateurs who don?t know what they doing? Please burn this place as soon as possible !!!!NO RECOMMEND

Not even worthy of a single star I had Paid for a major service, when I collected my car after being told it was ready and the service was completed I noticed a brand new oil filter and pollen filter on the passenger seat. When I went back into the centre they apologised and said they had ?missed? this. I also noticed my book had not been stamped to confirm that the service had taken place. Upon being told for a second time my vehicle was ready I shins went to collect to notice that the book had still not been stamped with no proof the service had been performed. Again the book had still not been stamped to which I was told don?t worry we will do it now you have to take our word for it we promise we have done the service. By this stage I had lost all confidence and have since had to take my vehicle elsewhere for a service to ensure the service had taken place. This all happened after being told 45 mins after dropping my vehicle off that there was 900 pound of advisories that need doing but yet the basics of the major service is paid for couldn?t even be completed! Manager lied to me and said he would contact me the following day to resolve which was a lie. I now sit 309 pound out of pocket and a further 300 spent on another service. Disgraceful service and shambolic way to treat paying customers. I will NEVER use Halfords for vehicle services or anything else for that matter. Boycott them and go to a small business like a local garage where you will be treated with respect and provided with honesty.

I believe that one star is really too much for that center. The customer service is terrible. First bad experience when I left my car on one Saturday opening time. I arrived trying to explain what I was trying to achieve and that man was a bit rude. Having doubts of he really listened what I explained, I made a phone call, he was rude again and asked me to leave it with him. After a week we could not received my car back they did the service I asked not to do. Second time my wife asked to check something else and the made another appointment. Then asked to leave car again another night. Costing money takdo Scholl drop and pick up. Just picking the car from there mydriving seat more deteriorated as it was before and the ignition cylinder very difficult to operate. Terrible!

I have used this autocentre for 5 years and never had any issue till now.Since 2022 there has been new staff and the service has gone down.I booked my car in for mot with Halfords - my email confirmed the mot is with national tyres- when taking my car there I immediately turned around and cancelled my mot- care.I will be thinking twice to book my car in with Halfords as they do not always use their own autocentre.

when they changed my discs, they didn't fix them in position and didn't put the screws. I don't recommend it

Had a bad experience with this centre when i had to repair my coolant. I had my A/C coolant serviced a month before and in a month time the coolant got empty. They didn't advise me of any such think to be aware of. When i approached this AutoCentre to check the leakage, a particular service person who dealt my case was very rude in answering my queries and after the repair also he didn't show me what was replaced. This is not the best way to deal with the customer and its completely not a pleasant experience.Service: Air conditioning

Really disappointed with my visit today, I had an appointment booked for my car wipers to be replaced and one particular man at Halfords was unhelpful, cocky and somewhat rude. My appointment was booked by Halfords and I received two text?s ahead of the appointment to find out they do not have my car wipers in stock nor do they keep them. It?s something they have to order in, which of course defeats the purpose of the appointment. What a waste of a trip.Don?t work at front desk if you don?t know what good customer service is. Furthermore, he was on the phone to a customer telling them the cost of their repairs and was rude to them too.Thank you to the man who I initially spoke to with a hearing aid in for being kind and helpful.Service: General repairs & maintenance

While the prices may be good, all I did was go in for a quote and I was greeted by a grumpy staff member who no doubt answered my query, but wasn't friendly at all. He didn't even look at me once and kept his eyes on the computer the whole time. Great way to deter customers ??

Made me wait outside fir a car drop off, because they open at 8am despite all the mechanics sitting in the office staring at me and despite the email confirming my booking stating they open at 7.30. I always suspect these high street mechanic by checklist companies do the bare minimum to maintain your car and wouldn't replace or fix anything that happens to be outside their checklist. I won't use them again
