Took my son?s bike in for the free summer check/service and David was absolutely fantastic. He clearly explained what the bike needed and gave recommendations in a way that actually made sense to me (it was all gibberish at first!). He was patient, answered all my ?silly? questions without judgment, and turned what could have been a stressful visit into an easy, even enjoyable one. Couldn?t have asked for better service.

The staff are always very helpful, especially the Selhurst branch. They are very knowledgeable and happy to explain details. I know nothing about cars apart from how to drive and so if I need anything or have concerns I always go to Halfords for help.
The Halfords club is also useful and you get free gifts.

Always understaffed (e.g. upstairs is often blocked because of lack of staff) and stock levels are often low. I went today for some bike inner tubes. The selection was dire.

Had a great experience due to the staff member who served me at the till and then provided a battery fitting service - Ryan.
At the till he told me how signing up to the Halfords clubs could save me money (I saved around £50 as a result), and then he proceeded to expertly fit a battery for me in a tricky engine bay.
Will definitely come again and really want to praise Ryan for his great service and attitude.

Booked a call out for a 12V car battery replacement. Paid £18 extra to get the timeslot down to 2 hours. I'm sitting next to my front window, which is also next to my doorbell, holding my phone, and I receive an email that they have tried to contact me but were unable to get through, regarding my order. I've got no missed calls. They've asked me to call their helpline. Been on hold for 10 mins so far.
