Unlikely to return here. While very helpful on the day, I returned to pick up my car to find a hole burnt in the mat and a cigarette butt in the drivers footwell.
I?ve also just realised (several weeks post MOT) that they unplugged my dash cam during the service and MOT, I can?t think of any other reason to do that than to stop a recording of the work.

When something isn?t fair, and I can help others then it?s o my right to share a review . For a start I went in for a steering check due to a clunk noice coming from the drivers side every time I go over a bump. I?m thankful for Gary making me aware that one of the break pads were the wrong way round make a scrapping noise . He Refused to test drive it which I understand so unable to hear and feel the car. However, to be told £350 for a new set of break pad and discs? Yes it?s caused a slight groove on the discs but All that needed to be done is turn it round to then be able to test drive it and see about the initial noise coming from the suspension area ( what I actually went in for). So I went off, amended and went back the next day for a suspension check ( saving me £350 by not listening to Gary?s ?sale technic? about the break pads and discs. They then informed me that the lower wishbone needs replacing, sending me a quote of £425 and letting me know I have a severe collant leak which I was already aware of! The manager was really friendly, Gary on the other hand needs to smile a bit and improve a few elements within customer service! I have been giving a quote to fix the leak, and wishbone replacement for £140 all in! So them two days, if I would of listened, I would of walked out spending under £1000! So I?ve saved myself £860! Absolute robbery! So the car didn?t need new pads and discs, only the wishbone and coolant leak! So next time guys be honest with your customer, stop trying to increase your revenue by absolutely ripping people off! Happy Monday! Would of been one star, but the manager was nice! Sorry not sure of your name!

I thought I will try them as they are local. But I left very disappointed. Worst place to do MOT. Couldn't allowed me to use velcome voucher as a premium member. Membership is very dodgy so please avoid. Bad service. Will definitely not use them again.

Very worst shop I bought new cycle. just 1 week. After the cycle broken. I will return shop booked repair. They didn't change. They very rud for me. The tyer broken at the time i down the road my hand damage. I am one of the regular customer

I have been coming to Halfords for over 15 years and the way I was treat earlier today for arriving 15 minutes late for an MOT was a disgrace. I went to the wrong branch unfortunately as there are two in Croydon. When I apologised for being late and told them I have an MOT booked I was told ?No you had an MOT booked?
The guys at reception had an appalling attitude from the moment when I walked through the door and refused to carry out my MOT, smirking at me as if they found the situation funny. I specifically took the day off work too.
Absolutely disgusting customer service and an appalling attitude from the bloke with the grey hair. Do not go this branch, go to the one over on Stafford road. Their auto centre is much better, the staff are professional and very courteous. Avoid these tossers on sumner road.
You?re very lucky I didn?t drag the pair of you outside and leave you both brain dead.

Had a failed MOT, they gave me advice on how to fix the issue for free, and saved me a good deal of money. Then had it re-MOT and passed. Top service and great people

This branch was exceptional. Gary at this branch is brilliant. Had a problem with my brakes and thought I may be stranded without my vehicle. Gary went above and beyond to get me an appointment the next day and reassure me the problem could be fixed. If your in Croydon and need your car fixed this is one of the best.

I recently sent my car for mot and the tester O. Crook did a horrible, nasty and rubbish testing.This guy listed over a advisories, he listed the bumper of my car that is damaged as the front of the car been damaged , this are two different things.ALL HE WAS INTERESTED ABOUT WAS MONEY. I took my car away got the Major and minor defect repaired . I don?t ever recommend taking your car to this garage for repairs or anything. They are rubbish.
