Food is fine and I know its Croydon but do we really need a security guard on the door giving everyone evil looks as they enter. Not a very welcoming environment or atmosphere

Came in and was 2nd customer as here before opened.
All wanted and asked for is 1 latte, and sausage and bacon roll with Ketchup.
Left and made my way to get tram bit into and realised gave me with brown sauce which don't like instead of Ketchup as per what had asked for.
OK it's not the end the world but waste of money and spoilt breakfast.
Annoys me when people don't listen to what ask for.
As not like was ordering for 20 people the same time, was just simple breakfast deal for myself.
Get something else on way into work with waste of money and time due too.

Greggs need to fix up. They don?t offer non-dairy options for hot drinks and their savoury is always cold. I?m not happy with this!

This is Greggs so you know what to expect. The sausage roll I ordered was cold, but the service was good. The main problem is not the store. In fact its great its here. The problem is your in Croydon and its a Cr4p hole. 250 meters away is the immigration centre. Just please avoid , especially Monday morning first thing. Also be aware the hotel next door is Jury's Inn , (just join the dots there, if you want to stay). Opposite at the bus stops us where a school girl (God rest her soul) was Stabbed to death by her ex partner. Next to it is Whitgift car park that charges a minimum of £3.50. Since the council sold all its carparks 16 yrs ago , they are all unmanned and thieves target certain cars , especially Hondas, smash the back passenger side window to steal what they can. The Sainsbury's by this carpark has closed,(although there are 2 Sainsbury's locals open),so has Waitrose close. In fact over half the shops around Whitgift centre are closed or just plain terrible. Keep your eye on your belongings especially bags, phones, wallets etc, even when paying in stores. People regularly steal from the Pound Store so watch your surroundings. Croydon Council has started and applied for bankruptcy. Looking at the infrastructure around you can believe them. One plus is the good transport systems here. Trams are good here, but please remember at least 75% of people using them at peak times don't have a ticket leading me on to vagrants. Don't no really DON'T use any underpasses alone or at night as you WILL have problems being blocked by rough sleepers. If you have Gambling problems here is a problem with at least 15 bookmakers and slot machine outlets within a square mile from here.

Another it is what it is - great for a quick and cheap breakfast. I'll take a Greggs bacon butty over one from the place with the arches!!

Staff are always super helpful and friendly. However I have personally witnessed so much shop lifting and the staff seem to have no support in dealing with this and just write it in a book, sad state of affairs.

I haven't been to Greggs for a while. So, I went here for a lunchtime treat. The pizza slice with pepperoni was tasty.
