This has been the comic book store I frequent but today I feel will be my last day ever coming here. The shop is quite small, and while forbidden planet is supposed to be a COMIC BOOK store, their selection is very lackluster and is honestly not worth the money. The focus seems to be on toys, but even then the toy selection has also gone down hill.
The sale section is pretty good though as you get get some graphic novels for as little as 99p.
I know I am complaining about a chain store, a small one at that, but the superstore into London is really worth the journey because they have a much better selection, especially in the same section.
The reason for why I will not be coming here anymore is because one employee, to describe is a short lady with blonde hair is constantly following me around everytime I come in. as I said earlier I frequent this shop and have been shopping before this employee ever worked here. The combination of high prices, small selection and the potential racial profiling has meant I will not be coming here anymore.
I much prefer the other independent comic store, A place in space. independent shops always have a much better vibe anyway.

so so much anime goods and manga i was so shocked!!! loved all the blind boxes. really surprised to see fully stocked shelves too! quiet and kind staff

Great branch normally go to the London location but this one is less busy and has some great items that where out of stock in the main store, staff couldn?t be more helpful

Fantastic shop, a bit small but you can find almost everything! Nice variety of comics , figures and cards! My kids love to buy Pokémon cards there!

My daughter is a big fan of this store. It has a great variety of items and good prices, especially when there's a sale. My daughter was really pleased to find a figurine there that she wanted for her birthday yesterday, and the staff are always so helpful, polite and friendly ?
