Review for Dunelm Croydon ? Experience with Manager Jarreth
I had a very disappointing experience at Dunelm Croydon with the manager, Jarreth. I went to return a bin that was completely unused and brand new. Instead of handling the matter professionally, he kept repeating himself about the returns policy and insisted the item was ?unsaleable,? even though it was in perfect condition.
What made the situation worse was that he refused to serve me any further, told me to leave the store, and said someone else ?should? serve me. I felt extremely humiliated by the way he spoke to me. His attitude came across as dismissive and ego-driven rather than customer-focused.
I have always trusted Dunelm for quality and service, but this experience left me very disappointed. A manager should resolve issues fairly and respectfully, not make customers feel unwelcome.

This store is great but the self service counter causes delays. I am disabled and find technology troublesome due to ny mental disability issues and it makes shopping for a person like me very differcult . Come on dunelm bring back more staff on tge checkouts please

I had an enjoyable shopping experience , also the cafe had a good selection of hot and cold foods. The shop is situated close to other facilities therefore you can make the day a family day out.

Went to this branch with my child, they have self checkouts which we used and scanned everything and paid. We also bought a hairband my daughter liked. After paying and with the tag showing I put it on my childs head because my hands were full. As we were leaving the store the security guard came running up to my child and said she didn?t scan it. When I turned around and said yes we did he goes no you didn?t and then goes I am joking have a good day. First of all, you don?t talk to a little girl if you suspect anything and secondly you don?t accuse without actually seeing anything and then pretend that it?s a joke. My child was horrified all I got from manager was a sorry. Super unprofessional avoid this branch

I came into the store few days ago and Jolanta was so helpful and patient. Decorating work can be stressful but Jolanta gave good advice anbd took the time to understand what I needed, looked at pictures of my home to help me understand what can best fit. Thank you Jolanta!

Lots of nice products to choose from but I find this particular store untidy. The last few times I have been, which is usually in the evening, there has only been one person serving on the till. I felt sorry for the cashier last time I visited as the queue built up and not one colleague came to help. I counted at least 3 staff members walking around the till area picking up discarded items, if one of them jumped on the till to help then customers wouldn?t have been standing around waiting for long.

Feels third world, its messy from the cliental that go there and isnt tidied up by the staff. Stupidly long queues everytime that I've gone which has put me of purchasing anything and just walking out instead.

I recently visited the store called Dunelm in Croydon, Surrey for the first time to look for curtains. I was assisted by a lovely lady named Daniela who was patient and extremely helpful. Daniela deserves a promotion to management; she was kind and made an effort to help every customer while attending to me. Thank you, Daniela, for your kindness! Oh, by the way I love your beautiful Polish Accent ??
