We had a couple of recent encounters with Ms Kashmira in Croydon Branch and we are very pleased with her outstanding professionalism and dedication. She is very kind and polite and allowed us enough time and attention to ask questions which she responded to, and addressed our concerns.

Self-service counters are out of order. Huge crowd who required assistants and no staff to fulfil the proper service. Working hours are unacceptable, especially with no working counters on Saturdays. Do not recommend Barclays not for personal use, not for business.

Closed our charity account for no reason. Called Barclays and they said they called us twice and we did not answer our old phone number, so just closed our account.Hi Ramona, this is pointless. Barclays are still not listening and still giving stupid excuses. Please do not offer help when you cannnot provide it. We will be closing all of our accounts!

Honestly incredible just how depressing it is to be in this place. I had to use this branch for the first time as the three nearer my home are now all closed. This branch cannot cope with the volume. Customers swearing and hurling abuse at the very few staff members who are actually there among the sea of vacant desks. No security to help them out. Waited half an hour before even being checked in to wait for an appointment to have some ID verified. Do not under any circumstances go here. I gave up and will try a central London branch in the hope they've not slid as far as Croydon. Then close my accounts.

I visited on Tuesday 25/7. I queued to speak to someone, while queuing I could hear how rude a male member of the Barclays staff was being to other customers. Other people in the queue commented on this and we all were shocked at the way he was treating customers. Condescending, impatient and openly blaming them for causing him more work because of a technical issue they were experiencing. I didn't actually get my own problem sorted but felt that the way this person was treating your long queing customers a much bigger problem.

9 out of 10 times visiting this branch, you'll be ignored or given objectively poor customer service. I've banked with Barclays for over 10 years, I've even worked for them a few years ago, the services offered have become less and less helpful and the colleagues more and more rude. This branch is an exact model of how not to do Retail Banking.

The staff is very professional and nice but the waiting time is ridiculous.They are understaffed and that?s unfair on both the customer and the employees.Waiting for over an hour is not acceptable.

I visited Metro Bank, Natwest, HSBC and Barclays all in Croydon today. Metro Bank, Natwest and HSBC I was able to walk in and see a representative within minutes who were able to help me review my accounts plus help set up new ones. All three show exemplary customer service. Barclays unfortunately by far is the worst ques staff who cant be bothered and a month waiting list to talk to someone maybe Barclays should focus on customer service rather then closing all their branches.

As a business customer we expect good service. Every time we visit branch we have ti wait 45 minutes in que. They also have removed business counter.
