I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent visit to the Argos Store located at 53-57 Church St, Croydon CR0 1RH. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager( a big,white old lady) and her colleague( white old, skinny lady) on duty was far from satisfactory. On the 6th December 2023.Firstly, I was taken aback by their rude and negative attitude towards me as a customer. Their disinterested and unhelpful demeanor left me feeling undervalued and unwelcome in your store when I asked for a refund.Furthermore, I experienced unresponsiveness and long delays in receiving assistance during my visit. Despite seeking help from multiple agents and touchpoints, I felt as though my concerns were being ignored or brushed aside.The lack of empathy displayed by the staff was particularly disheartening. Instead of understanding my situation and providing appropriate solutions, it seemed as though they were simply going through the motions without genuine care for customer satisfaction.Additionally, rather than actively listening to my concerns, it appeared that the staff members were more focused on responding defensively or dismissively. This approach only exacerbated my frustration and left me feeling unheard.As a loyal customer of Argos for many years, this experience has greatly disappointed me. I have always appreciated the quality of your products and the convenience your stores offer, but this encounter has tarnished that perception.I kindly request that you address these issues promptly to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar treatment in the future. I believe it is essential for your team to receive proper training on effective communication skills and customer-centric service delivery.Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I trust that you will take appropriate measures to rectify these shortcomings in order to uphold Argos' reputation for exceptional customer service. Never got my refund back

Wow Argos. Your new face lift suit you very well. Even your staff looks mush happier. Collection of parcels and shopping there seams now more fluid. Keep it up!

Will never go to this store again! The staff were rude and unhelpful. One of the female staff ever kept shouting at a customer. This customer was waiting to see the collection number pop-up and standing at least 5 metres away from any counters in a position clearly not blocking other people from queuing in the mighty empty store. But the female staff just kept making accusations wherever this customer moved to!

Rude staff and rubbish products! Avoid! And just to add that I agree with the other reviewer that Eleanora the manager is very rude and unpleasant. I was sold a mobile phone that didn't work and she refused to replace it and was very rude and dismissive. Where do they get these people from! I will never shop there again!

Worse service. Rude and overwhelmed manager that does not know how to speak to customer. I?ll avoid this store again because they just ruined my day.

Wanned to buy a baby door jumper, queued up, got to the till and got told to go and pay at machines if I'm paying with card .... you call that a customer service? I'm at the till and can't pay ?Lazy staff - LAZY !!!!! I'll use parley way store next time cause this one smells

The manager (Eleanora) is really rude? Unfortunately for the brand, having this type of employees have made me regret placing an order through Argos instead of Amazon.They don't accept returns even though I?ve never opened the packet. No problems like this using Amazon.

Shop was well looked after and the service was great.Had my items sorted out for me quickly and the staff were very friendly.The products I bought were exactly as described and I will definitely return.
