The maniger Charlotte and Assistant manager Darren, lead a dedicated, personable team.They are very well stocked.Very professional.Extremely informative.I have been using Lawsons timber, Coulsdon branch for the last three years. And of the back of Coulson's performance. I have chosen to use a number of Lawsons timber branches.From a Professional Carpenter's point of view. I had been trying to purchase some pea shingle for a little while without success when a friend recommended that I call Lawsons in Coulsdon. The lady could not have been more helpful and informed me rather apologetically that it could not be delivered for 3 days (which was terrific in the current climate) but if I 'click and collected' it would be ready in 30 minutes. Great service and my recommendation to all is deal with smaller local companies.

Very impressed with the staff's knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness. Also they were patient and explained fencing options well for my garden fence and gates, which was very useful because I'm not an expert. Surprisingly they tried to save us money, and they were honest about who knew what, and which options were the cheapest.

Went to them (after having gone to Jewson + B&Q) and they were £85 cheaper on my £300 project so a huge % saving. Not just that, I was taking around, shown the different pieces of wood and received recommendation that proved valid. Timely delivery. I will go back to this store, really impressed and my project turned out well and some of the credit belongs to this shop and their staff.

2nd time I have ordered sleepers from Lawsons cheaper than anywhere else, the friendly staff even matched the online price and delivery time were first thing in the morning so I have the whole day to spend on my project
