It ok as a pet store

Every time I go there I have a bad experience with staff. Miserable. Unwilling to help. Moody. and the list goes on. Today I spoke to the senior manager with grey hair he listened to me without looking at me then gave me a robotic answer that made me realise I wasted my time talking to him. Prior to speaking to him I spoke to another manager who said that it was best I spoke to the other manager as he was more senior. Passing the bucket to those paid more ...nice attitude! The new guy at the till was the worse one. The best thing about the shop is the dogs walking around. Humans excel at failing and never fail to disappoint LOL
if staff don't like dealing with customers why dont they look into working for a funeral home?

Seems to be that everytime I go in this store the managers conflict with each other and what they all should do. First I was given very ill fish and given the wrong guidance on almost everything in relation to the fish costing me 100s of pounds in the end. Moving on I visit regularly to purchase live food for our geckos. I visit to get some live food on a number of occasions they're always 50%+ dead in the boxes to which most managers will reimburse me at checkout.
today I was told I either pay full rates or come back another time when a box had only 30% locust living in the box....
This is ridiculous if u cant offer a full product don't sell it.... or atleast if you're going to do so reduce it to reflect what is left, this is ridiculous and disgusting almost forcing people as they have no other option but to buy the product for their hungry pets.

I wanted to write of the superb customer experience I have received at Pets at Home (Hendon) from the moment i entered the store. We have had new pet kitten arrivals and I was unsure of the correct food and other products for them as it is my first time looking after pets of any kind.
Georgina and Jess were particularly brilliant in their advice and expertise. Also, I have to say all staff are friendly and I get the sense they really care about what they do and this counts!
Not only do I wholeheartedly appreciate the support and advice from Pets at Home but more importantly our new kittens and their mum are really happy with their food/toys.
I would strongly recommend this fantastic store for all your pet needs.

For over a decade now. Couldn?t have asked for more attentive and kind doctors and nurses. It?s always a joy to go there and my puppies always happy to go there. Even after operations they are not scared to go back. Thats how good these people are.

Nicely laid out and spacious with helpful and friendly staff sometimes u can be waiting as I think there's not enough staff to cater for the size of the store and demand it generates and the selection of tropical fish could be more extensive and a little bit cheaper and the discount could be bigger but overall it's a thumbs up.

Very bad service. Rude n unhelpful staff.
We went to by a Hamster no one came to show us neither help us when we asked them, they made us wait for like 30 mins or more n at the end never got any help.

There's a car park that doesnt charge but there's probably a 'max stay' for the parking time , so check the signs in the pets at home car park for parking.
The store is the usual size. Practical and friendly. They have a variety of animals and items. I will upload some photos next time im there.

Very good stock for all pet food and accessories. I come here regularly for cat food and litter and always very happy with the choice available. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
