“I have been trying to open a joint account online however, been unsuccessful. The documents I was uploading were all fine but for some reason, the system wouldn't accept them. It's been weeks and there was no success.I went to your branch and complained, both Purvi and Toral (I think that is her name) were fantastic, they too couldn't understand the issue and so they took copies of my documents in the branch and did it all manually. They were super apologetic, friendly and got the issue sorted. Purvi made contact a few days later to ensure I was happy and she flagged the issue to your HO who also made contact. The online system is poor and pointless however, the service from Purvi was brilliant. “Had to call into a branch to get cash as a card was lost. Problem as the counter was only open till 2pm and I was at work. However, I went on my meal break. It had taken already 30 minutes on the phone to try and get through to them with no luck. Confusing having two members of staff interacting with customers as several people got to queue jump by being with one that dealt with people slightly faster. Still, the cashier was excellent when I got there and erased any fears, very informative, and extremely helpful. His name was Ayanleh, and what a star Barclays have in him. I hope they realise that in case they don't I will also be writing to them.”
