Desperately in need of a full gut and refurbishment. Felt sick even walking into the store today. The produce is frequently mouldy, like the store. Rugs part-covering bubbling lino everywhere, with a bucket yesterday catching water dripping from the ceiling. The store is a major health hazard. Switching to competitor across the street instead.

How is food purchases on Friday, completely mouldy by Sunday? Even tho it?s been in the fridge ?

I am an ex-Waitrose partner from the North and was shocked at the dreadful customer service I experienced this morning at your branch, whilst visiting family in Battersea. The older lady on the self-checkout was very brusque with me when I asked where I should place my goods, having explained that I was unfamiliar with Waitrose tills. My payment method then zoned out of time and she had to come and assist - I apologised, but she was obviously irritated and wouldn?t even look at me, brusquelygoing through the motions of getting things back on track. I then heard her whispering to an older female customer (whom she obviously knew), about me - I saw the customer looking over at me as they huddled together, gossiping. I felt so strongly about the unpleasant experience that I went straight to an assistant on the tobacco stand and said how rudely I had been treated. The male Partner did apologise, but I left the shop feeling embarrassed, awkward, shocked and disheartened.

Staff are helpful, lots of fresh produce. This is our local waitrose so handy to pop in to grab a bight to eat.

I find the staff to be friendly and hard working, however the store just looks as if it's struggling.I visited Saturday at around 3pm and the shelves were so badly shocked.Also what's with the rugs hiding the damaged lino? It looks tatty! Just re-do the floor.

Good store but staff will profile you at self checkouts and instantly check back to your machine?s receipt as soon as they think you?ve left as because you?re ?of a certain profile? probably likely to have stolen something. Makes me feel like i?m an expected criminal and feeling embarrassed.Has happened several times now that i check back to see at every visit. It?s sad

A very good store with Waitrose goods which are always excellent. Rather good venison steaks here. By the way this is in Battersea, not Clapham ?. And prices are coming down so it's a convenient shop as time advances. And the turkey crown is amazing this year.

I go shopping at this store at least once every week as I work as a gardener at The Chase in Clapham Common and I have dirty clothes on but the security at this store makes me feel so uncomfortable because they assume I?m there to steal food.All I want to do is, get some food and go home and relax after a very long day at work.Those guys ( security) need retraining to really be able to see who steals and who doesn?t.Just because I?m not wearing a suit or something expensive, it doesn?t mean I?m different from everyone else who does. If there was a minus on ratings I would give this store a minus 5 star rating just for this.

Hi, I'm shocked at what happened tonight at Waitrose Clapham Junction. I usually buy food for myself after work. Tonight I rushed in and put my bag on the floor to see if my electronic cigarette was working. An employee, seeing me, immediately called a boy I think it was a manager who rudely told me I couldn't smoke!!!! but I wasn't smoking!!!! the manager's behavior was completely professional, plus he told me that I shouldn't go back to the store again!!!! I would like an explanation for all this. I would like to understand why she shouted at me and had the man who was at the entrance check me!!!! how little professionalism.

Awful customer service, the employees cannot even attempt anything close to a customer focused experience to help anyone when looking for items! I asked someone for help and there was no dialogue at all they just pointed a finger for further down the aisle and went back to her headset. Like I was an inconvenience.... Very poor ....
