A cluttered and hectic store environment, and some of the rudest staff members imaginable. As a customer you?re generally treated as though you being there wanting to buy things is a complete hassle. Just a shocking lack of customer care! One definitely to avoid!

Why exactly do you not have self-checkout in this store? This is the only grocery store in London where I need to queue up every single time. And it?s so akward trying to pack stuff into my backpack at the small checkout desk, I see everyone struggling with this. What?s going on?

There's is too much for me to say in one review. However, to sum up I have never witnessed such poor customer service in my entire life. If it wasn't for the fact that they stock a specific product I need I would never return. You leave feeling like you've just lost a part of your soul. The vibe in there that emitts off the staff is nothing short of morbid. Maybe they are being treated poorly (I hope not) but I expect a simple hello at checkout. Head down scanning items and punching numbers into a machine is pretty much the service you get. At best you will get "tap here". I should know individual names by now given the amount of times I've been in there but I won't name and shame. Shocking...

Very friendly and helpful when you need. Very convenient with the myhermes parcel deposit service. Extra convenient is that you can top-up your gas cards and electricity keys. Update10.03.21. no longer has myhermes delivery service and no longer has British gas and electricity top up. Still nice convenient store.

we have two convenience mini-supermarkets ; a Sainsburys and the CoOp. I live closer to the CoOp and we have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds in the past 6 months. I've just been in and might have been invisible. the two members of staff were in the middle of a huge conversation, clearly ,yet neither even paused for any kind of greeting or any kind of interaction with a customer. Earlier today I left my shopping because the queue for the cash register filled the store, one person was at the till, yet there was hysterical laughter from the back/store room. It seems to be a real mess. At the Sainsbury's, which I know less well, ironically, there is always a greeting and the feeling that the customer matters a little bit

The Co-op on Abbeville Road have been tremendously supportive and generous helping Jacksons estate agents with our fundraising initiative for the homeless charity; Ace of Clubs. Our annual Halloween Kids Party would not have been possible without the Co-op's help. I urge all local residents to make the Co-op your store of choice.
