The staff are friendly, and there's a very large space downstairs with two toilets. You need a code for access, which is provided on the receipt, so be sure to ask the staff for the code or request a receipt. It's usually quiet, so if you enjoy coffee shops with a calm atmosphere, this is the perfect place for you.

The two boys that work here today Tues 22nd July are absolutely appalling, they continuously makes drinka that are undrinkable and when you ask them to make another, one even though you?re offering to pay for it again, they refuse to serve you
the boy with the ponytail. his attitude is disgusting. He is always on his phone. I have never seen him smile or treat anyone like he can be bothered to Serve. to refuse to serve a paying Customer because he didn?t like me saying the coffee was not good, in fact an absolute disgrace. You are going to be constantly having issues with this location. The other boy just can?t make drinks. He can?t. He doesn?t wanna make drinks and when you ask him to remake the drink, he give you attitude( even when you?re going to pay agin! Well, these two boys shouldn?t be serving anyone, So the the kid with a ponytail, I was in there the other day waiting to be served and he didn?t even look up for three or four minutes. I was standing there, huffing and puffing, all he did was look at his phone and for someone who works in Customer Service, I am disgusted that these boys are still working in café Nero. Also, the place is a dump and they never clean when they are on shift, like the wonderful Gideon & Amy!
There are so many negative reviews about the staff attitude and service that is time for the area manager starts to either retrain these people or sack them, and get people in who are pleased to serve customers because the amount of money I spend in this place and it is disgusting in the way I?ve constantly treated in this location

Friendly helpful staff (mostly). Smallish Nero, so not that much seating. Nero coffee is better than the other big chains. Nice food, reasonably priced. Toilet for customers only, via key request.

Of all the branches I have visited this one is abysmal. The Eastern European barista who served me last Sunday, had zero customer service skills, was miserable and got my order wrong twice! She needs to go on a customer service course and adopt some listening skills. In addition the quality of the food is poor and they do not bother to keep the restaurant clean. The one on Lavender Hill is nicer but always packed on a Sunday hence this branch as a last resort!

I was served by Gideon who was extremely polite and professional. He provided an efficient service. The coffee he made was perfect 10/10 barista maker. i will definitely recommend this brunch thank you Gideon.

Abysmal service yesterday - I was told that the drink that I wished to purchase which was supposed to come with a biscuit, couldn't be provided in full (the biscuits were out of stock).
I was then told that I could purchase another biscuit rather than a suitable replacement being provided. There was thus an offer to purchase a coffee and a biscuit for a certain price and the offer could only be fulfilled in part (this is a clear mis advertisement / breach of contract on behalf of Caffe Nero).
Alongside that, the coffee was terrible and the service was very poor.

I am pregnant and was looking for somewhere to use the toliet, I was told by a gentleman in cafe nero I could use their toliets, I just needed to ask the girls behind the desk for the code. Unfortunately the two rude young Asian girls turned me away. Wouldn?t come here, never mind for a coffee. It should be a basic human right as a pregnant lady to use a bathroom. I never leave reviews but wanted to do this as it?s disgusting
