This is my local gym. Next door to my block. It?s perfect. It has everything that I?m looking for. It could do with some updated machines, especially compared to other gyms and what they have (Balham? my GOD??).
My only gripe is really with the other members that come because they can?t do a simple thing that is plastered all over the gym? put your weights/plates back.
A bunch of people that have signed up believe that because they pay a ?premium? rate that someone will tidy up after them. A lot of the time, it?s the person that wants to use the same machine/space after them.
What the hell?
To those of you that put your weights back and/or spend time tidying up a space before you use it BEFORE your workout: thank you and big up yourself.
To the mannerless tramps that can?t even put plates and weights back where they found them: you people are ruining the space that a lot of people like myself value greatly. Imagine if the space was gone (see 2020-21), what would you do then apart from get out of shape and nasty?
Love to all the staff that work there though. They have done an INCREDIBLE job taking care of the space. Very welcoming to all new members and very helpful when needed.
I remember gym space that I went to where if you didn?t put the weights back, they fined you £5 each time.

Such a great gym! All new equipment, individual showers, Dyson hairdryers etc, really nice! I went to Abis spin class on Monday and it was a really good workout. Will be going back.

Really tiny gym with very little floor space but functional

Very friendly staff and good location. It was disappointing that the gym equipment is old and worn?some weighted barbells look as if the dog been chewing through the rubber.

The staff are rarely there at the advertised staffed hours. You end up having to wait for other members to leave in order to get in.

Amazing gym!
Great quality and quantity of equipment, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
The 8 racks mean I?ve never had to wait to do my workouts. The cardio machines are amazing, and It?s always clean and tidy. I also love their ?vanity stations?!
I think it?s the best gym in the area, and really well priced.

Really friendly staff, went for the first time today, the equipment could be modernised a bit but I can?t fault the friendless and professional staff that work there, I saw them frequently cleaning the equipment and very helpful with many things.
Also the gym isn?t too overcrowded, I?m happy I found it

I tried it out during the weekend, so it wasn?t too busy. But the gym is small and everything looks very tired / old.
For me, the monthly fee is expensive for what it is. I would rather pay a little more for a bigger and newer gym and also have classes that I can sign up to.

Broken equipment, not clean, uneven surface in the weights area and only one place to get cleaning wipes with the result the other gym users don't seem to really use them. Compared to other AFs really disappointing and not a good first impression. It really needs a bit of TLC from the ownership.

Amazing customer service, super clean gym and equipment. Would definitely recommend. It's not the biggest gym, but given it's location it's so much more quiet than other gyms near local stations, at 8pm on a peak evening it was still reasonably empty. Will definitely go back! (And so glad it's bookable via classpass)
