Loud & Stressful place for relaxing after workout. I visited that club for 1 evening only while working close by. It?s a complete opposite to my home club at Repton Park. Parking so confusing where to park when the tiny Virgin car park has no spaces. I might even get a ticket as you need to register your number plate on arrival - nobody at reception told me about despite me mentioning having trouble with parking and visiting here for the first time..After my class I wanted to swim/spa. The spa area has a very low ceiling and every word/sound is bouncing echoes - and everyone is talking and shouting especially in the whirlpool. It?s so loud. A guy was literally shouting to his mate for about 45 mins. Even inside the sauna behind closed doors at the other end of the pool - felt like being trapped with that blarring loud guy in a tiny lift. No Virgin life guard said a word to him to keep it down. Then a group of four young non swimmers occupied the fast lane and had a mates meet up. I decided not to swim rather than ask them to go to the slow lane to hang out. Steam room wasn?t really warm and sauna overcrowded. I was actually really stressed out after that visit and won?t come back again - ever.

This is the best gym I've been in the last ten years since I'm in London. Always clean, all the stuff are great and providing each client VVVIP service. Especially Desiree who always brings extra towels to the changing room and Spa, she is brilliant and always makes our day even better. Towels are clean and smell fresh, for me this is very important. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants an extra luxury in their daily life.

Nice gym, but half the time I go there?s a queue for the car park and sometimes I just have to turn around and leave without getting a workout which is a huge waste of time and disappointing. Avoid if you need to drive

Great group classes. There should be more of those added to the timetable as it's getting more and more difficult to book a place, even outside peak hours. Any Barre, Yoga and Pilates classes get fully booked 6 days before the class.

Decent gym but their customer service aims to be the worst alongside with virgin media. Had signed up to a joint account that was advertised for myself and partner. After cancelling it turns out they had set up two seperate accounts and kept one of them active and came chasing for fees refusing to accept their mess up. Ironically they have lost more money dying on this mole hill of poor customer service as we will not be returning after relocating.

One of my least favourite gyms I?ve ever been to. Prior to going I tried to call them on 6 different occasions. Each time I was put on hold for over 10 minutes and eventually gave up. I emailed twice and received no answer. The customer service is appalling. There are far better gyms in and around the area.

Was a member 4 years ago and judging by the comments it seems there hasn?t been any improvement since I cancelled my membership! Still the dirtiest gym in London!

I have been member of virgin active since being opened in Twickenham.Classes are average and the equipment could be updated.

Poor customer service.During signed up I was offered a free month if my partner signed up as well. It was made clear to the membership team representative that my partner would be signing up via a a work scheme and we specified the provider. This was all explained in detail at the time to check it was valid. They stated I would receive a free month after they signed up after me.Months later and I didn't receive the free month. I speak to someone the club and they say the membership representative who signed us uo has been let go, they ask me to email head office. Head office fob me off stating the free month via a work scheme is not valid and refer to their terms and conditions.What matters is what your employee told me to entice us to sign up, not what is in your T&Cs.Lied to by staff and £106 a month for an average gym, the soap dispensers in the showers never work and the towels they have are old, stained and too small for anyone but the skinniest of physique.I've been a member of multiple gyms and my experience at Virgin Chiswick has been the worst value for money.Worst of all head office disregarded my situation even though it was made clear the employee that signed me up was let go due to poor performance of some kind. Perhapse lying to sing up new members?

Customer service is appalling. For the price it's not worth it. When I report things or need help nothing ever gets resolved. Emails don't get a response. Induction request ... no response... The weighing scale has never worked for me in 9months. Just cancelled my membership and now they respond to my cancellation of the direct debits and are trying to make it difficult for me to leave even though Ive supplied my notice and proof that my contract has ended? It's just ridiculous, disappointing and it's getting annoying. The parking situation is terrible. If you get a ticket they do not support you at all so you get fined even though you are a member of the gym and parking is included in your membership virgin don't support you so you have to pay. Honestly it's been an absolute headache will not be doing this again.
