i really enjoyed it here! the ambience is very nice, music being not too loud and the service being very speedy! however the food portion was too big for my liking, but you shouldnt regard that as a negative :) i went with family and they absolutely enjoyed the meals!! its a very cozy experience dining here, i would recommend if you like thai food !!

I have eaten here about 3 times , I ordered my usual on Deliveroo and it was very disappointing and salty . The corn fritters were greasy and the vegan , tofu , cashew, mushroom was mediocre . Won?t be ordering that dish again .

I ordered the Stir Fry Noodles and was really disappointed. The vegetables were undercooked and hard, and the chicken was chewy and unpleasant. Not only was the meal poorly prepared, but I also ended up with an upset stomach afterward. I emailed the Chiswick branch as they suggest in responses to complaints, but never received a reply back. It feels like they ask people to email just to appear responsive, but in reality, it?s a waste of time. Very disappointing and not honest an

Ate at Torthai for the first time last night and will definitely be back! Really delicious food and huge portions. The calamari was amazing, so fresh and beautifully cooked in a light batter. We also enjoyed chicken satay, pad Thai and three flavoured fish. Everything was tasty. We appreciated the air conditioning although there is outside seating too. Charming and efficient service. Would highly recommend!

Have been to few thai restaurants before, compare to others, the menu doesn?t offer many options. Didn?t even had a Red thai curry on it.
The place is so small, feels very uncomfortable sitting next to the other table as they are so close together.
While I was there on Monday with my friends, saw people coming in and leaving after looking at the menu.
We ordered starters, the staff was not helpful at all. We mentioned the dissatisfaction with one of the dish very politely, the young lady waitress started arguing with us.
Shouting loudly and saying? who told you to come here???
That was so shocking for us, we couldn?t believe how she dealt with the situation so aggressively. she was so rude and argumentative.
Never going there again.

What was once a family favourite and go to Thai restaurant, is now a no go zone! After the service we received on Monday evening we will not be returning again. We were seated and ordered a lot of starters including the calamari which we have had many times before with no issues. On Monday however it was very tough and extremely rubbery. We mentioned this to the waiter who just said 'this is how we make it'. We mentioned how we have never had an issue with it before. He then took the plate to the back where he returned and said that if we wanted a new plate of calamari we would be charged for another portion alternatively we can have the original plate back. We were shocked as this has never happened before. We did express this to him and he didn't have an answer for us and we asked to speak to the manager who was conveniently away. Then his female colleague came to our table and immediately had a defencive tome. She would keep interrupting us when we were explaining the situation. She then said that if we wanted to change the plate there was no additional charge which is what went against what the first waiter had said. We then asked to change it but she said 'well you've eaten it now though' when it wasn't it was just a bite. We also questioned why she didn't approach us when the first waiter came to her with the issue and she said 'because you didn't ask' which we did as we had asked to speak to the manager in the first instant. She continued to interrupt us in an aggressive manner and we said 'well we should just leave if this is the service' to which she responded 'who told you to come here?'. We then left as we have never received such rude service over something something like this. The first waiter clearly didn't know the protocol and the female waiter had an attitude i'd never seen in the hospitality/ food industry before.

Went twice recently, last Thursday and again today both times delicious and great service for a reasonable price. We had chicken noodle curry, chicken and cashews , pad thai chicken and Chang beer,all yummy

Nice place and good food. The staff was lovely although I agree with other customers that the clearing of the table was happening a bit too often. We enjoyed discovering Thai milk iced tea!! Also recommend the mojito, it was nice and at a good price for a cocktail.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here during Easter weekend. It was quiet and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was stunning. Thank you Carlos for the good service
