This is awful bank and service! I had to leave Ukraine because of war and my passport was expired so I extended the term in the migration service because in Ukraine does not work passport desk because of WAR! And they tell me that they can?t open me bank account because it said 5 words in Ukrainian language in my passport! I even have insurance number and BRP! Shame on you!

They asked for physical ID and I provide my BRP which has my picture on it and valid issued but they don?t accept it!!!!! The only physical ID they accept passport and drive license which doesn?t make sense\\nAnother client talked to the manager then accept his copy Phone ID\\nWhile I went home to bring my ID\\nWOOOW!!!

When I first moved in to the UK, I opened a bank account in here because it was the nearest bank. 2 Years later when I needed a proper credit history for my mortgage, shocked. I didn't have any credit history (I do have one but, poor).\\n\\nTurns out HSBC didn't reported my bills, my credit card, my accounts to the third parties (like Experian) and I kept using their cards, banks and services for years.\\n\\nI showed up in the branch and explained the situation, all I got as an answer was 'sorry, sometimes happens we forgot to report things, but we can offer you a black credit card now'.\\n\\nIf you want to experience the same, yeah you are on the right place.

was talking to a chap here about Bitcoin inflation. Told me 'sans coin' was real bad now a days. Went home and looked up 'Sans Inflation' and i was HORRIFIED! There isnt even a thing called sans coin! Please have words with the worker called 'Chris'! I am terrified!

As other reviewers have noted, generally incompetent and incapable. Everyone else I know with HSBC goes to the Hammersmith branch in preference as often the staff are unable to complete even basic business. Only giving 1 star because you can't give 0.

The staff were helpful when I tried to open a new account. They sorted the issue in few minutes unlike the Ealing Broadway branch of HSBC where they made me go to branch for two days during peak Covid wave and still didn't sort out things.

Appalling service - unbelievably rude. I've been trying to open a joint account with my fiance for about 3 weeks now. HSBC seem completely incapable of doing it for us and Gazel at this branch told me that because I work 5 days a week and have very limited free time 'there's nothing she can do for me'. Shocking! I'm lost for words and will try to take my business and banking elsewhere.

Terrible customer service, no one is bothered to see you, or help you out. Staff are looking for any reason to close that branch even for few hours, because they are that lazy.

This is one of the best branches among all HSBC during all the ten years with HSBC very cheerful, helpful and friendly staff especially Mary. She work very hard to help customers However she sorted out an issue for me they can't by phone and she setup an app and stay with me during all the security details. However the bank include self service machines and good location. Not very busy. Recommended.

Not only the best HSBC branch, this is actually one of the best bank branches I have ever been to in general. The staff are incredibly helpful, kind, and positive. In their already busy schedule, they made sure every possible option for helping me with my various problems was tried, and they saw to it that every one of them was solved in the end, while keeping their friendly attitude and smiling faces all along. Thank you very much Mary, Sandra, and Christina. Great team!
