Halfords offered a 10 point car check worth £15 , for free. I i felt very reassured by the car check and delighted that it was free!

Visited Chiswick branch yesterday and today to collect my son?s new bike. We had not had much luck with Halfords call centre so decided to visit the branch instead. We were very happy with Celina and team who were helpful with my re-order and then on pick up were really patient adding parts to the bike. Thank you Celina for all your help

On Halfords website the store is open in Chiswick until 2000 hours in reality it closes at 18:00 hours and the Halfords staff in the head office don't even appear to know this. My car suffered with a flat battery I was told if I arrived at Chiswick Halfords before 7:00 p.m. they can fit a new one I got there at 6:00 as the place was just closing. The staff refused to sell me a battery and close the store. The customer service was appalling they don't even know what time they're own store closes and the staff on site were rude.

I joined today as a premium member, unfortunately, staff were not very kind when I asked for a quick check as I had an orange light on that I was not sure why and they replied that I need to make an appointment. They were not helpful neither welcoming. Very disappointing

Poor customer service, my bike repair was delayed by a few days and they couldn't give any update over the phone. When I finally went to collect it, they kept ignoing me and served 2 other customers who came after me, I had to ask 3 times. Acknowledging a customer waiting to be served and informing them about a delay doesn't take more than a few seconds.

Great experience at Halfords Chiswick. The staff were polite and efficient. The South African mechanic who serviced my road bike was friendly and did a great job. Well done in the rugby mate.Thanks.

Had an awful experience on Wednesday afternoon (29 Nov) at Chiswick. Waited around 20 mins for the mechanic to change the light bulb in my car. He was complaining that the van he was dealing with was taking longer than he expected. When he finished the guy in front, I was told he couldn't take anymore fittings. It was only 4.30 in the afternoon! I was told to come back at 9 the next morning so I said I would be back at 12.30. The fitter said come back at 1pm. So I returned on Thursday at 1pm only to be told the fitter was at lunch from 1 until 2. I was surprised and angry the guy had told me to come back at 1 when he was going to be at lunch - I had made the journey specially. I tried to explain this to the lady at the till but she was more interested in telling me the store was closing at 6pm. I said fine but I am trying to tell you what has happened if you would just listen. I was trying to ensure that I wouldn't be fobbed off at 2pm when I returned. Again she repeated the store was closing at 6pm. So incredibly rude. Not sure why she was dealing with customers if she would prefer not to have to or so it seemed to me.Awful customer service. The lady at the till was especially rude and unhelpful and was not interested in listening. Also the fitter must have known he would be at lunch at 1. Why tell me to return at 1? Awful, awful service.When I returned at 2pm the car park was so full I just drove out and went to the Isleworth branch. Seen quickly and the job took just seconds. Lovely service.I wanted to give Chiswick zero stars but I had to give them 1 star to make the post.

Excellent service by Halfords today. Needed a bulb changing and unfortunately it's not that straightforward in my car, but the helpful gentleman at Halfords sorted this out in no time.Will definitely go back again.

My experience with Halfords has left me profoundly disappointed. Despite booking a specific date and time slot for the collection of my bike, it was not ready as promised. I called to the customer support line to find out if my order is ready to collect but to no avail. The lack of information regarding its readiness only added to the frustration, and the staff manning the customer support line seemed to be entirely unaware of the status of my order. Their attempts to contact the branch for updates proved futile, leaving me without any clarity on when I could expect my bike.My feedback to Halfords is, the sequence of events has not only inconvenienced me but also eroded my confidence in Halfords' ability to fulfill its commitments and communicate effectively with its customers. It is beyond believe how a big company like Halfords can behave in such unprofessional manner.

My appointement was moved eralier and they called me if that is okay U said yes and showed uo for my Silver Care . Selena was very professional and attentive helping me fixing my bike and helping me purchasing the parts that needed replacing. Selena always goes the extra mile so thank you.Everything was in stock so was lucky enough they managed to fix my bike instantly . Amar who finished off my bike was very helpful too and had a great experience . Thank you Selena again for your professionalism and care and for going over and beyond to help thank you Amar for your kindness and patience with the finishing touches on my bike on this busy afternoon .

I visited Halfords Chiswick last Monday, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience they offer for motor parts. Their 1-hour click and collect service is a real lifesaver when you urgently need a part. The staff was helpful and the store well-stocked. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because there's always room for improvement, perhaps in terms of pricing or more extensive product range. Nevertheless, Halfords Chiswick is my go-to place when I'm in urgent need of motor parts

Thank you Serene for fixing my bike!Not linked to her super work today, but here?s the difficulty I experienced:Bought 1yr free bike servicing at time of purchasing bike.Booked it in for 6 months service.One part was unavailable.I ordered it.I waited for a text to say a part had arrived.The text never arrived.Very hard to get hold of a particular store by phone.I cycled to store to sort issue in person.

Came here to have a 10 minute task done on my bike. Was told to wait & it would be done quickly. Waited a long time only to then be told to come back tomorrow. The attitude was rude & not apologetic for the wait. I was then told to bring my own equipment to do it with it as they don?t have their own (incredibly!) We made the long trip back the next day as agreed, only to be told ?we don?t have time- you have to book online?. And we were never told this the day before. I explained we were told to come back and made the trip especially, but received no apology. The general attitude was ?it?s not my problem / fault - I only work here? rather than accepting that the company itself failed us twice.How to increase this review to 5 stars:? Train your staff to give the correct information the first time- Train your staff to give consistently the same information so that it doesn?t change depending on who you speak to- Train your staff to be more polite to customers? Train your staff to smile? Train your staff to apologise when the customer gets let down, instead of saying ?it?s not my fault ?- put signs up, explaining the process, timescales and price for each service item, instead of forcing customers to wait for long periods of time to speak to staff, who ignore them: for example, a bicycle service, scooter, tire, change, scooter, service, wheel replacement, or puncture repair- offer a gesture of goodwill to compensate us and any other customer who has had their time wastedAs there were two of us, we had a total of three hours of our time wasted by Halfords Chiswick staff. This clearly isn?t a staffing issue but a management issue.EDIT: in response to management reply ?please reach out to us to resolve this issue? - I already did, several times. Your staff dismissed it as ?not our fault?. I finally left this review to reach out to you. There?s no need to require customers who leave reviews to identify themselves & face potential retaliation before you consider taking action to improve your business.You don?t need me to reach out further- you have all the information you need. Just retrain your staff as per detailed in this review. That is assuming you want to improve.

Like others have said, massive wait for the bike section and totally ignored my staff for 10 minutes, when I was only one oif a few even in the store.The staff member that finally came over was so rude that I ended up requesting a refund. I would never go back here, there are much better, nicer and more professional places to get your bike repaired.
