We had been here for A Sunday roast, they have good vegetarian options, their potatoes were absolutely spot on!!
Their sticky toffee pudding is something that?s gonna keep me coming back for more?

We went to the beautiful Imperial Arms for a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. We had heard this pub had the best roast around which our charming waitress confirmed. To say we had high expectations was an understatement. It delivered! Our waitress Sydney was absolutely fantastic - giving a good level of playfulness that everyone vibed off of. A great all round experience, the pub dates back to the 1700's and having visitors from Australia with us, made the history of the place more significant. I would highly recommend. Nothing disappoints.

Sat in pub which was dated, worn-out and reminded us of an old ladies flat.
Had sunday lunch roast beef, not much beef to be honest, 3 potatoes and veg on plate already and they even put the gravy on already. They decided how much gravy I was to have.
Very expensive at £23 and underwhelming but place was busy so perhaps people like a meal like this. We don't so won't be back.

Excellent variety of food and reasonable prices. This is a regular for us. Also serve a good pint of Ale and pale ales. Plus a selection of non alcoholic beer including Guinness Zero.

My number 1 place to go for a roast on a Sunday, the food is exceptional, the staff are attentive, lovely wine selection, and a nice vibe. Pictured is the goats cheese nut roast with all the veg, potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding. My mum usually gets the lamb and loves it every time.

This pub is just top notch! A proper traditional independent pub (without the riff raff) that serves great food! We had friendly and welcoming service from all staff including the owners! The Menu and drinks are very affordable and the portion sizes given are more than enough. Would definitely return to try more off the menu and also to enjoy the atmosphere.. wicked music playlist by the way!

My son took me here today for a birthday lunch. We are new to the area but having met the managers/owners previously it was an obvious choice to try.
What a lovely traditional, authentic local pub!
The owners are so lovely as are the rest of the staff and our food was delicious.
A proper authentic experience, home cooked food, locally sourced produce from local suppliers and butchers.
You could definitely taste the difference in the quality of the meats and the rest of the food. Thank you imperial arms for making my birthday so special today.
Highly recommend this pub. We will definitely be back.

First visit to the Impey and I'm impressed. It's a proper pub clearly loved by locals, and does really good food.

Very tasty food and good sized children's portions. The steak sandwich was excellent. The food took a while to arrive but we understood that everything is made fresh in a small kitchen. We would return.
