I usually don't write reviews. I'm a seafood lover, and I enjoy good seafood. This restaurant is a 10 out of 10?a little gem in Chislehurst. The service is excellent too! Thank you, I had a great lunch with my family.

Disappointing menu there wasn't a huge menu to choose from then were told before we chose that four dishes were no longer available as they had run out. What we had was good but small and over priced and then sides were extra.Only a few choices for desserts so didn?t bother. Toilets were mixed gender and in need of attention with a sticky floor.

Came for a midweek birthday lunch and had a great experience.
The food is absolutely delicious and, as other reviewers have said, it is priced fairly for what you get - the higher prices are definitely reflected in the quality!
We got the house platter, prawns, scallops, bread and butter and chips, and a bottle of Kentish sparkling wine.
Particular highlights were the chilli salted prawns (so delicious!!), house chips, scallops and oysters.
The servers were very friendly and attentive in topping up our wine and checking we were ok. We sat outside which was lovely given the warmer weather (although you are quite close to the road and I?d love to experience the ambience inside next time!).

I kind of want to like this place more than I did. Food was good but not great and at £50 per person with no alcohol or desert I just thought it was a touch toppy considering the limitations of a couple of the dishes.
Primarily the scallops were mostly a pile of red cabbage which in turn was overly acidic from the vinegar and drowned out the delicate scallop slices that were very thinly sliced.
Heritage tomato salad was good.
The best item on the table was the anchovy sauce on the cod that my wife had.
Service was good and everyone was very pleasant so I?m a bit conflicted about picking some minor gripes, but I just feel that at the price point it underdelivered on detail and quality of finish.
I?d go again but my wife says no!! (More conflict!!)??

We visited Fish Union today and the food and the service was 5 star,very sensible prices and the staff were spot on , highly recommend. Tony

We came here to experience the sardines, which we cook regularly at home, to see if we would like to return for an evening meal.
On balance, we have decided not to return. There were only 3 sardines each for £9 per person! We presume they were frozen as they were dry and were flavourless compared to the ones we cook at home. However, the sauce was tasty. Is this to mask the flavourless frozen fish?
Wine was minimum £30 a bottle.
Terrible service, takes ages for the staff (with no customers inside) to come and take your money after giving you the bill 45 minutes ago!

The food was great, I had the chicken and it was so much better than most other options I've tried. The servers were attentive and helpful. Although there was a delay in the food, the eventual food and people more than made up for it.

My dad took me to fish union the other day for some dinner and it was lovely!! To start with, the restaurant itself is gorgeous and also very well laid out. The staff are all extremely polite, friendly and professional. I had ordered the chilli tiger prawns and my dad ordered the burrata with nduja and both were amazing and super flavourful. I had also ordered the salmon and scallops for my main with a portion of ?our chips? and they were both extremely nice!! I would definitely recommend this place, 10/10 :)

My first time visiting as a friend introduced it to me. We arrived at our agreed time and from opening the door the atmosphere and staff to greet you made you feel if you knew them for years so welcoming.
Defo be back sooner than later can't wait

Exceptional Seafood and Atmosphere
What an incredible dining experience! The oyster selection was absolutely perfect?fresh, briny, and beautifully presented. The prawns were so fresh they practically popped in your mouth, and the lobster was cooked to perfection?succulent and full of flavour. The wine selection paired wonderfully with the meal, and the restaurant had a great vibe with a warm, lively atmosphere. A true gem for seafood lovers. Can?t wait to come back!

Lovely fish lunch. Really tasty and big bream and Gorgeous prawns!
Only 4 stars for atmosphere as only 2 tables booked for lunch.
Dressed crab for starters.
Still full come dinner time!
Will be back for the happy hour 5-6pm £1 per prawn ?

Let?s start :
We booked this restaurant based on reviews, most of them good so we could not wait to try it, being ourselves fish and seafood lovers.
Service: good and welcoming.
Wine: a massively overpriced list of wine. Some good some very average and expensive. You won?t find a decent bottle for less than 30 quid
Oysters: amazing
Starters: we had tuna and octopus - good but the portions are small. Barely tasters.
Mains: we ordered two ray wings and a monkfish:
Monkfish - very average, not seasoned properly. Slightly overcooked. Okay.
Rays - we had to call the manager over and ask her to smell the fish as one of them stunk of ammonia - my husband had to literally spit it out as it was unbearable to eat.
The amazing thing in all of this is that they advertise freshly daily delivered fish when we saw kitchen staff getting it out of freezer bags - that explained the ammonia as the fish was definitely not fresh. Ammonia is used to preserve fish when it?s not fresh any longer. The manager gave us the unforgettable excuse that ammonia occurs naturally in fish - this is not the case at all, and unlikely for this lady, I had 2 experience fishermen at my table, coming straight from the Mediterraneans which, to the sound of that, they had a laugh.
The other wing was good in fairness and the manager tried to make it up to us nicely by giving us the 2 mains and the sides for free. We appreciated the gesture.
Overall- expensive and not great at all! Sorry.
The reality is that we will never stamp a foot thru the door of this restaurant ever again. This is the unfortunate reality of messing up with a very expensive menu that does not deliver its promise. Good luck.
