Ultimate Chislehurst experience in a white-tablecloth restaurant. Strange surprise was cover charge on the bill which needed to be paid per person.

We went for dinner last Tuesday evening. It was very busy and we were served by many different staff through the evening. The menu was rather large and we were being asked to order every minute or so by a different waiter, and one of them made a jokey sarcastic comment about how long we were taking. We felt very rushed and a bit awkward even though we had only taken 5-10 minutes. Two of the meals were very good one was okay but my husband had ordered the veal with mushrooms, shallots and paprika but the shallots and paprika were missing which made the meal very bland. No one came to check back on the meals but we mentioned it at the end of the meal and they openly admitted that it had missed off. They weirdly offered a different meal but we had all finished so he declined. No discount was offered. He had a dessert which could have been given as a goodwill gesture but we were charged. I don't think we would return.

Second time back. Service is always good, waiters put on their Italian charm and food is good. I tried the cod moray which was a good portion but would not boast about it. Overall good atmosphere, a bit expensive for the overall service etc. They put on a cover charge on top of service charge which is unnecessary , just had 4 slices of bread on the table.

Highly recommend this wonderful Italian restaurant in Chislehurst UK. Was there recently and as always enjoyed a delicious meal with superb service and surrounds.

We booked this restaurant for my daughter?s 18th birthday. This was mentioned when I booked, and again, quietly to one of the waiters during the meal.
The meals we ordered were mostly excellent. However, the risotto pollo certainly wasn?t one of the best.
There were other diners in the restaurant who were also celebrating a birthday. The servers acknowledged them and were very attentive and sang happy birthday. I think it would have been a lovely gesture if they had maybe done the same for my daughter?s 18th, being a special birthday. Disappointing to be treated differently.

Excellent Restaurant with great ambience. I booked this restaurant for our group of 10 persons to celebrate a 90th birthday party. We were delighted with the service we received from the attentive and lovely waiters. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. We all enjoyed the wonderful celebration. Thank you everyone at Due Amici. We will be back.

This is a family owned Italian restaurant owned by an Italian person, with a great ambience.. The food is amazing, always fresh and cooked well. The service is second to none. They always make you feel special and can't do enough for you. Great selection of hot and cold dishes, as well as fish and meat options. It is a very popular restaurant with the locals and gets really busy, so make sure to book a table.
