I have just left here physically shaking after coming in to buy a coffee with my daughter. I was half way through making my order when a man said that I had pushed in. I saw nobody was queuing by the till when I arrived and the member of staff was happily taking my order. The man was getting more angry, and feeling more intimated I had to leave. The staff while in a difficult position didn't say anything and let his actions escalate. They obviously knew who he was too as when I left they said his name telling him that he had gone too far. I was in a really relaxed mood entering but still an hour late in shock at what happened. I will be taking up this further with head office as simple intervention by staff would have stopped this ending like it did. I will never return to your premises which is a shame.

The second time this happened, I've had it now.My 4 years old always wants the mac and cheese pasta,he loves it. Went to the fridge but couldn't see any pasta, so I asked the lady behind the counter if there was any in the back. She said there was none left, so my boy settled for a sandwich. A few minutes later, another member of staff comes with the pasta to refill the fridge. She saw me staring confused, so she asked me if I wanted the pasta. I told her that i originally wanted to buy the pasta, but because I was told there was none, I ordered a sandwich.The girls behind the counter they were chating amongst each other, and i heard one of them saying :" I made the sandwich for them already. What do you want me to do with it?"After that, one of them turned back to us and said, " Sorry, we can't change it. You already have the sandwich."Not only that the same exact thing happened a while back, but every time I came to this particular Costa branch, the staff here were rude and always showed a lack of interest.I like Costa products and my kids as well and whenever we go to the Costa brach inside Tesco at Highams Park, we never had any issues. Staff there are kind and provide good customer service.The 1 star review it's not for Costa in particular but for the Costa branch in Chingford Mount

Had my hands full, tried opening the doors, dropped my drink and they replaced for free no hesitation. They were nice about it and I got my order so fast. Great staff there definitely going back.

Your employees need to be trained in how to deal with customers, not leaving them stand in a queue.I had to walk away from the queue as a member of your team simply did not want to serve me.She seemed to constrate on helping the other employee on the coffee machine.The whole experience yesterday was not a patch on the way that your members of staff in Walthamstow, they are most helpful and very good .
