Nice hotel for families, 2 restaurants, bars, stuff for kids to do, rooms are spacious and clean. Food choice is good enough not to have to go out.

Another comfy stay! I've stayed 3 or 4 times now for business and always been satisfied. The location is good, the free parking is ?? Breakfast is reasonable and as it's included in the stay, makes it great value. The quality does vary at times - this time they had the better quality sausages, so I was able to have some (sometimes it's those cheap smooth ones ??). One bit of feedback is that there's no longer take away tubs. I bought my own this time, so that was fine. But the time before, I wasn't able to have breakfast because I didn't know they'd stopped providing them. The rooms are pretty generous in dimension, which is really nice and I've always found them to be pretty clean. I've dropped a star this time around, however, as the room was a bit 'tatty' (Room 334) - stained carpet, poor paintwork and basic repairs in the bathroom. Hate those little soaps too, liquid soap would be better - I have to use the shower gel from the shower to wash my hands. The shower gel smells lovely, so I like using that, but the dispenser is poor quality and the plunger doesn't come back up, you have to pull it up manually before you can push down.On the plus side - LOVE the Freddo chocs on the kids pillows - highlight of my stay they are! ? They were replenished this time, which was a surprise bonus. Usually I only get one lot on a 2 night stay ??

Hotel ambiance is lovely with great amenities. We were really excited to celebrate our daughter's 3rd birthday.Only let down is that the kids pool closes 8pm and adult pool area closes at 9pm. I dont understand why they have to close an hour early for the kids and that they are just in the same area. I mean it's understandable if both kids and adult pool closes the same time. But this is a safari themed hotel for kids, just dont understand the logic kids can enjoy the pool shorter time. Opens late but closes early. ?I've asked staff the reason. She was hearing but not listening and keep on answering irrelevant answers.Lovely stay though.

Room on the broom themed room, with own parking spot and 1 hour in the theme park before it opens, very happy kids. We went on more rides in that first hour than most of the day. Zafari was fun and great to see the big wild cats, giraffes, rhino's and gorilla's. Very nice trip. Themed Rooms are fun for the kids. Hotel a little noisy but it's a family hotel, was to be expected. Lots of fast food, but hey ho, it's a theme park.We had a great time

Great family experience with our 3 year old. Plenty of great activities, staff were great and helpful, fitting us in to the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. Evening entertainment was great for the kids, free candy floss at reception, access to the pool is perfect for little ones. Highly

We had such a wonderful stay. Waking up to see the animals walking around, was just beautiful. The room was immaculate, the bed was so big and comfortable, and it was so quiet and dark which was fabulous. The bathroom was great in size, and furthermore, also very clean. The shampoo and shower gel was a nice touch. Our 2 children loved the bunk beds, the whole set up made them feel they were on a real safari adventure. Definite memories made.Negatives: it'd be great to have some complimentary biscuits in the room just to take the edge off hunger after a long day, with our cup of tea. We were so hungry, but didn't wish to ruin dinner by buying from vending machines. At dinner, I was still eating my starter when my main was delivered. The waiter stood with my main at the side of me waiting for me to finish.I did feel pressured to hurry up, which I didn't like. I would have appreciated a little break between courses. We felt we were on a conveyor belt.We were also forever being brought other people's dishes, and even when we paid, we were given someone else's bill!!!! We paid, just not realising, and then we were approached some minutes after to be informed weve received the wrong bill, and we need to re do it.I know it sounds petty, however, it became a little annoying after a while. All said, apart from the finishing touches, we will be back, as we enjoyed it all, the hotel was clean, and the staff were really nice. The animals and view are very special.

After a long day it was nice to have a hotel to have some rest. Friendly staff and amazing rides. Really had good family fun-filled

Stayed here numerous times. Have stayed in girraffe and tiger room which where both great. The rooms are showing their age now but are still good with great theming and amazing views of the animals. Obviously food isn?t the best, but is still good, theme park amazing obviously.Rooms: Various rooms available, theming great, in tiger room the toilet roars when you flush it hahaha. Starting to show some age.Nearby activities: Theme park great, I don?t watch the entertainment but it is probably good. You can go in wanayma from park close to 8pm which is great. You can enter the theme park early at 8:45, and ride selected rides from 9. Currently whole of Jumanji is available which is great. (Mandrill 4 times hehe)Safety: Hotel safe, fire alarm tests at 1pm sometimes, windows have a lock on it so you can?t open all the way and fall out.Walkability: Great hotel and all is flat. Has 3 floors. Once your in the park it is quite hilly.Food & drinks: Always have breakfast in Azteca, good buffet, obviously not the best but is good. Had dinner there once, was buffet aswell, is good too, but I always rather just eating in the park.Noteworthy details: Remember park only open March-November. There is a pool aswell, but is quite small. Although, they are building a massive water park ready for 2025/2026 not sure.

The hotel itself was ok and the staff were friendly and helpful the rooms were clean as was the rest of the hotel but the food is horrible so if you do stay here go out and eat it will be nicer and better value for money the breakfast wasn't much better for the money that we spent there I was expecting a lot betterFood & drinks: Very disappointed with the food if you are going to stay at the hotel then go out for food and come back and have a drink in the bar and watch the gariffs wondering about

We ended up staying here after having to cancel a very dirty Airbnb. I?m glad we hit the slow season in mid-September, as the rooms were slightly cheaper and the restaurants weren?t busy enough for us to need reservations. The rooms were clean (even the kettle!) and we appreciated the hospitable touches (hot chocolate and toiletries). This hotel is definitely geared toward the 5-12 year-old range, so we felt a little out of place as a group of 4 adults. However, we were comfortable and the food was good. The cleanliness was the best point for this hotel. Some of the younger staff members acted unprofessional, but all the adults contributed to the pleasantness of our stay.

Only complaint is thar the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Stayed in the Wanyama view room, so woke up to views of zebras and ostriches grazing I'm the fields. Lovely time. Bed was also very comfy.Nearby activities: Direct access to Chessington theme parkFood & drinks: When staying here gp to the Zafari Resteraunt not the Temple Restaurant which is just awful.

This is an honest and fair review and after reading it i hope you can understand why it only got 2 ? which is a shame.I arrived at the hotel on sun 23rd July just before 4pm and showed the member of staff my confirmation booking through Agoda. She then told me that they don't have a record of this booking and could i wait while she checks with the duty manager. She can clearly see i have a little girl with me but obviously at this point doesn't know she has mental health issues which I clearly let her, Sarah and Agoda rep's know as time progressed.10 mins later she returns to tell me the hotel doesn't partner with Agoda and my booking is not genuine and they've had this problem before. I asked her if that's the case why hasn't this been rectified and what is she prepared to do to resolve the situation. She tells me that I will have to pay for a room and get a refund back from Agoda. I showed her the confirmation booking again and made it clear to her this was non refundable and i will be fighting a losing battle trying to get my money back.Well sir there's nothing i can do for you until you have paid for a room. By this point I'd asked to see the manager. So she rung them and told me to wait next to the reception desk with my daughter. The next customer had exactly the same problem and was told to wait with me. Another 10 mins passes and the duty manager Sarah appears and introduces herself. We express our dissatisfaction and ask if she can call anyone to help resolve the issue but she told us that they don't partner with Agoda???To cut a long story short and to spare you all the phone calls i had to make, holding time's and trying to deal with a very stressed 10 year old the time was now passed 6.30 pm. By this time I was drained with the whole situation and couldn't bear to see my daughter crying so I was left with no choice but to pay for another room. I only live an hour and a half away from Chessington and could have travelled up in the morning but i booked this hotel for the magical experience it should have been but the way the hotel staff handled the situation it has ruined this and now she has bad memories of the place! They didn't even offer us a drink while we stood there for nearly 3 hour's trying to get in our room we had paid for. As for the hotel it was pretty good, room was spacious, buffet restaurant was nice and after dinner walking around the path and seeing some animals was a nice experience but unfortunately the damage was already done and tbh didn't really sleep much that night because I was wound up and had to write a long unnecessary email to Agoda. 8 email's later and speaking with 8 different agent's I'm still trying to get a refund. Please don't let this put you off the hotel but don't book through Agoda even though they have told me that they do make lots of booking at this hotel because I wouldn't want anyone to experience what we did. The next morning i did have a card under the door apologizing for the delay checking in and a voucher for 5 doughnuts. Without sounding ungrateful would anyone que for nearly 3 hour's to get 5 doughnuts? NOT good enough Chessington hotel!!

Had a lovely weekend trip to Chessington World of Adventures with my son & his mate....staying at the hotel on the Saturday evening. Our room was spacious & clean, with a lovely large bathroom. We had our evening meal at the on site restaurant and was equally impressed with the speed the food was brought out, still hot as well.Breakfast, which was included in the room cost, consisted of your typical affair of cereals, fry-up & fresh pancakes. The fry-up & coffee was much needed before another day in the park. It's not cheap......but if visiting the theme park for the weekend, the hotel certainly adds to the experience.Rooms: Lovely, clean room. The beds were very comfortable and the boys were made up with the bunkbeds.Food & drinks: Had a meal at the on-site restaurant on a Saturday evening (19:15 sitting) and the food was brought quickly & still hot. Also, great sevice!

My stay at this hotel was truly disheartening. The hotel manager and reception staff's treatment was not only shockingly bad but also highlighted a complete lack of respect for both visitors and residents. The experience was marred by their refusal to provide basic amenities like an extra pillow and blanket, leaving me in discomfort. What's more, when I requested a toothbrush, their response was utterly disappointing - they actually suggested I go to a supermarket and buy one myself. Such disregard for guest comfort and basic needs is truly unacceptable and paints a negative picture of the hotel's hospitality.

The hotel is great, obviously in a great location. The food is pretty good, but the weird jump between £15 means and £25 meals with no discernible quality difference needs looking at.Also, it might sound odd but I didn't find the bar or a place to get a coffee while I was in the reception.
