I have been coming here for the past two years and the nurses have always been outstanding!I have also had a few interactions with reception, either in person or by phone, and they have always been very helpful and friendly.Everyone I have encountered here has been brilliant especially given the pressure they are under with an underfunded health service.Imagine how good it could be if the government actually funded it properly, and paid doctors and nurses correctly for their excellent work instead of forcing them to strike.

Professional & caring team of GP's especially, Dr Kumar, Dr Alden et al, & Nurses like, Sally, Chuck Wai, & Tammy. Clean, spacious modern facilities, building is shared with Hook surgery, so you have a choice as a new patient. Big accessible car park at rear for easy, free parking & K4 Bus stop right outside the surgery. To make a GP appointment, fill in the online form on the website, available from 8am in the morning. No point moaning about this, it's a government directive, so if you can't fill in the online form, then phone or last resort, walk in at 8am to see if you can book an appt on the day. The onsite Pharmacy (Cohens) is an added bonus & super convenient.

We have been signed up with this surgery since we moved into the area a year ago and we have had nothing but amazing care. I?ve always managed to get a same day appointment. This week, my little one was seen and referred quickly. I was also seen same day at 7pm this evening. Nothing but grateful and impressed with the service - thank you

I've been waiting for test results for a week, when I call to find that they are back, I'm then told I have to wait another WEEK to speak to a doctor about the results......on the phone! Tried to explain, I have an appointment already booked for something else in the next 48 hours but I'm told the doctor MAY be able to discuss the test results at this appointment. I mean, come on.The whole reason I'm having to do this test again is because the first results were contaminated. Well its no surprise considering when I went to collect the second swab, it was opened infront of me, at reception, whilst a label was attempted to be applied before being handed over to me. I had to ask for an unopened one.Things have drastically changed here. It never used to be like this.

I am extremely upset with the way I was treated by my own surgery when I needed it to be there for me and support me. I had to have my blood test done on a specific day of the month and upon speaking to the surgery in advance, I was explained that I can pop in on the day, explain the situation, and get squeezed in between appointments in the morning. I did as they said on the phone, and instead of understanding and willingness to help, I was shouted at and made to feel like I am no one and my health and this blood test is not important. In addition, the receptionist was super agressive and rude towards me, it upset me very much. I have been waiting for months to be able to get this done and when I was able to finally, after almost 6 months, I am spoken rudely and yelled at in front of other patients. It made me feel very upset and humiliated this whole situation, especially because other people had to hear all about my health problems which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I am definitely raising this with the NHS and am most definitely registering with another surgery. The quality of this surgery has gone downhill since I first registered 6 years ago. Do not register with them unless you want to be waiting months to be seen or get things done, being spoken and shouted at in front of other patients and humiliated as a human being. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect, then read reviews, ask friends and family, and find a decent surgery elsewhere instead.P.S. The Practice responded claiming someone had given me a call, and that things have now been handled and hopefully had made it up for me. This cannot be further from the truth. No one has spoken to me, nor have I had any missed calls from any number even. Clearly they are desperate in trying to make themselves look better in the public eye, while actually what's behind the curtains is far different. They haven't made themselves a favor, instead, they just re-confirmed to everyone how bad the admin/management is. Oh, and being understaffed in terms of nurses and GPs has nothing to do with the quality of service you provide at the front desk. Even in cases when you don't have the capacity to deal with requests because its peak period, talking to patients in such a manner, storming off and revelaing to everyone else in the surgery your patient's health issues, is and should NEVER be acceptable. And yes, rest assured I will exercise my prerogative right and change this practice for one that will actually treat me with the respect and dignity ANY and EVERY patient deserves.

Cant appointments, only want to be referred and pay myself , and thats a problem. No wonder hospitals are struggling , people must go straight there !!!

I recently filled out the online form requesting a telephone appointment with any doctor at any time which was really quite easy.I wanted to get blood test results and talk about something unrelated.Within approximately 90 seconds of hitting the send button I received a call from Dr. Avellini.She gave me my results and took the time to explain the numbers and any terminology that I didn't understand. She then discussed my other issue and prescribed the appropriate medication which worked a treat. She was very informative and also very clear with her instructions.Thank you Dr. Avellini ???????????

Have been using the new Triage system since the beginning of 2023 and after a few teething troubles have found it a great service. Understand the 2-4 day response time given but so far its been very quick.

Dr. Avellini was incredibly thorough in her examination, taking the time to explain every step of the process and answer any questions I had. Her professional and compassionate approach put me at ease and instilled a great deal of confidence in her abilities.Furthermore, the entire staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my visit was as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Impossible to get through on the phone.And when you do fill out the online application form for a doctors appointment it can take up to 2 days for them to reply, just for them to say: go to the pharmacy, as if that wasn't the first thing I did.Since they've stopped taking phone calls it's gone completely down hill.

Just called to make an appointment and after 20 min queuing - they just take appointments online now. I said that I?m not registered for online services and the lady said that it?s still possible booking. Website obviously asks for Practice ID and my ID to book appointments. Total waste of time and energy.

If there have 0 rate or even negative they deserve it, reception are horrible to push every one go to the website ,but why you are working ,better ship down without waste of tax money on them

I never normally write reviews like this but to be honest if I could give zero stars I would !For your own safety find another GP practice, reception is rude & aggressive, some of the doctors really couldn?t careless, just interested in referring because they are not interested and so here I am not slept in weeks, in excruciating pain, unable to walk at the mercy of the NHS waiting times?. Suffering pain that if I was an animal a vet would have treated with care !Maybe I should register at a vets because :-1, you get an appointment2, reception staff actually care and are not there for just a pay cheque3, level of care is impeccable4, they never leave an animal suffering in pain for months awaiting for a hospital appointmentOh and before I sign off, you say you have zero tolerance for patients being aggressive towards staff, maybe you should think about your staff being aggressive towards patients, who are in pain, high risk and vulnerable!!!

Drs are great but admin is dreadful. Who decides on the systems for appts and prescriptions that are so mismanaged. I?ve spent nearly one week trying to sort out an appointment and get medication. I think it would have been easier to go to a&e? it is thst what the practice want ? Back in the day the dr was the boss now it appears to be admin! I cannot begin to imagine how older people are managing online . I have been with this practice for 33 years however I?ve had enough and I?m transferring to another surgery where patients are people not robots! Shame on you Chessington Park Surgery ? and shame there are no minus stars because one star is way too generous.

I have tried for the past 6 weeks to get a doctor to talk to me about my pain. I have multiple illnesses & I am in so much pain. Got told I had to speak to the pain clinic who signed me off in April 2021 , so they what my Doctor to proscribed my meds.he won't do it with out the pain clinic, I am going around in circles.& all the while they may think it great I am in so much pain I can't sleep & cry most days. Where is the CARE.
