“I think the employees make a huge difference and they’re really helpful, polite and work hard at Chessington. If they don’t have it, they will order it for the next day. They don’t give you any hassle when returning items whether ordered by mistake or faulty. I can’t praise them enough. Great team and management.However, I went to the Screwfix in Kingston during lockdown and they were the complete opposite. I will never go there again and actively avoid it. Rude service and they gave my paint away to the wrong person and gave me theirs by mistake. No apology and complete attitude. I had to drive to the other customer’s house and swap it over for them. Worst service I have ever received mainly because of the staff. The manager was some emo-looking plonker in his 30s/40s and was confrontational. Please avoid.”

“Definitely has way more stock than the B&Q at Shannon's corner, who do not seem to restock very often. The merchandise is not as diverse, but at least what you need, you can find. They don't seem to stock metalware very extensively though, as I couldn't find any aluminium bars. As they cater for the trade, prices are all ex VAT, so this needs to be factored in when shopping there.”
