It was a pre-release at 8.30am and my wife and I queue from 7.30am onwards. When they opened to take orders, within 15 mins - all pre release products were sold out but the management could have easily counted the stocks they have and inform people in the line that they limited products that is clearly unable to fulfil the crowd. Hundreds of people are waiting in line but end up disappointed going home with nothing but costs to get to the shop and time wasted. Good job for poor management and communication.

I had an amazing customer service experience at Smyths Toys.
Mr. bhargav, he went above and beyond to help me ? he was incredibly helpful, patient, and made sure he tries he's best to find exactly what I needed. A big shoutout to him for his outstanding service!
The store itself is very clean, well-organised, and has a great atmosphere, which makes shopping here really enjoyable. The checkout was also smooth and efficient, with the friendly Ms. Lolita making the whole experience better.
Highly recommend this branch ? excellent service and a pleasure to shop here!

The store has potential and could do a lot better with friendlier staff members. Not even a smile or any sort of reply when my 3 year old said hello and greeted the lady on the till yesterday- Monday 3:30pm. Supposed to be a joyful experience for kids/toddlers but extremely disappointed with the behaviour.

The store is great with a decent selection. The 1 star is solely for the disgusting, miserable and nasty piece of work at the till. Coloured lady with glasses. Shocking how someone so horribly rude can be employed in a customer facing role. I strongly recommend management to mystery shop and observe this person?s behaviour and manner when talking to customers. Do her a favour and let her go, she clearly doesn?t want to be working there

One of the worst customer service experiences I?ve ever had.
I visited the store on June 15, 2025, and purchased a toy for my son?s birthday. When he opened it, he didn?t like it. We returned the very next day hoping to exchange it for something else, but the store supervisor refused?simply because it had been unpacked, even though the toy was in perfect, unused condition.
My 11-year-old son was very disappointed, and the supervisor showed no empathy at all. We even offered to exchange it for another item from the same store, but he wouldn?t budge.
Honestly, it was a frustrating and upsetting experience. Compare this with Amazon: you can return most items within 30 days?no questions asked?and without ever leaving your home. That?s real customer service.

Great shop with a wide range for parents. Originally came looking for a bed guard for my daughter's bed and although they only had one it was a very good bed guard. As soon as you take it out the box it's already assembled you just pull two parts down and stretch it out until you hear it click and that was literally it very straightforward.
I've never had a problem with this store and I've always been able to find what I need

We were not sold products due to our looks as we were told ? Chinese people came in the morning and did something dodgy? so they had grouped us together and refused to sell to us

Had a collection there which was easy but asked several members of staff questions about other items and it seemed to be an inconvenience to them - most were busy chatting to pals. I won?t recommend

Thanks to Tay we managed to find a silly little funko pop my boyfriend wanted, the website said there was only one in store so we decided to ask Tay for help, he climbed a ladder and individually looked through each funko pop in the section we weren?t able to reach which helped us narrow down the search. THANK YOU TAY YOU HAVE 2 NEW FANS!
