The rude lady called Carnen has a very bad and nasty attitude towards customer. Telling me not to shout when only trying to explain yourself.
The young person who attended to me today was insulting. I took a wall stripper that I bought a few weeks ago to the shop to return because it just stopped working. However, when I arrived, I realised I may have bought it straight with my card, rather than under my husband's Screwfix account. I also realised that the receipt wasn't among my reams of receipts. I tried to explain things to the person at the till, and the colleague beside him became very rude. She (a mixed-race young woman) kept interfering and didn't let me talk, pretty much accusing me of trying to return a stolen item! And in that condescending attitude that some white people show towards people of colour, she said I was shouting (even though I was not). As a matter of fact, as is often the case, her voice was louder and higher than mine. Her manager told her to leave, but I could hear her still saying rude things as I left the shop.
Even though Screwfix said they couldn't do anything because I did not produce the receipt, I found proof of purchase in my bank statement and will return the product.
Since when I went to the shop the staff have used my email for spam, after leaving the store within 2 hours - I now received spam mail which never happen before. Seriously, bad and evil staff.

Had an extremely disappointing experience with a staff member named Michael at Screwfix Charlton. I arrived at the store at 8:01 PM, after Google for some reason listed the closing time as 9:00 PM. Michael bluntly told me the store was closed and that he ?isn?t paid enough to wait around,? showing zero willingness to help.
I explained that all my tools had been stolen from my van and I desperately needed to replace them for work the next morning but he couldn?t have cared less. No empathy, no attempt to help, just rudeness and attitude.
I understand staff have set hours, but a bit of basic decency and customer care goes a long way especially when someone?s clearly in a difficult situation. In fact, he was smirking the whole time, almost like he was enjoying the fact I was in a bad situation. I had to make arrangements for someone to look after my child the next morning so i could travel to screwfix and back i also lost 2 hours charging the batteries for the drills all because i was late by 1 minute.. Really poor representation of the Screwfix brand.

I popped in to buy some safety boots, sadly the boots I thought were ordered weren't in stock. However, Moey guided me through the process. I'm autistic and it's the anniversary of my father's passing. the help was very appreciated and he saved me £20 on the original pair I had wished for. His customer cervice was excellent. His demeanour was positive, his attitude was solely customer focused.

This has to be the best screwfix customer service in london! i have been to so many of the stores but the girls in here was simply outstanding! the older lady was a dream (i wish i got her name)

I recently visited Screwfix to collect some items as a favour for a friend. I presented the reference number, and while waiting, I heard a woman call my friend?s name. I approached the collection area, but there were two separate groups of items on the table. Unsure which one to take, I politely asked her to confirm. She pointed to the correct items without much interaction.
Since the items were small and a bit tricky to carry all at once, I asked if there was any chance I could get a carrier bag. She flatly replied, ?We don?t do any bags,? and abruptly turned around. Thankfully, another staff member, who was assisting a different customer, kindly offered me a small plastic bag he found lying around. It was a big help and much appreciated.
What stood out to me was the contrast in their attitudes. The woman could definitely benefit from improving her customer service skills. I understand that bags aren?t provided, but there?s a way to communicate policies politely ? especially when dealing with first-time customers. Her manner felt dismissive and rude, which left a negative impression.
Screwfix is in business because of its customers, and I believe staff should remember that. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way.

I recently visited screwfix Charlton and I was blown away by the exceptional service I received from Muhammad the moment I walked in, they greeted me with a warm smile and an upbeat attitude that made me notice.
Muhammad was not only incredibly friendly, but they were also very helpful and offered to help me get my shopping in the car.

We have visited Screwfix Charlton store las Sunday with a huge list of items to get from them, the team was very patient and helpful when we had to select the items. Special mentioned to Jack as he went above and beyond his customer service to make sure we were getting the correct products and within our liking. Thank you Jack for gave us such a great service. ????????????????
