You have to be a registered business user to enter.
Prices- prices are ok. Nothing outstanding.
Most cases you can buy the similar products elsewhere and you don?t have to be a member.
I go during the weekday Am. Usually dead quiet and fast.
Staff have been there for years. For a retail job, I assume it is less hard work compared to other supermarkets!

Jada who serves at the entrance was great and when you can find someone to help point you to what you need there real helpful but other than that the store wasn't as good as i remember. The trolleys don't push properly unless weighed down with something. Got what I needed but took longer than expected

Missing product on my orders.
And when I call to let them now what happened they not very help full.
Is a lot of things that you need to do to try to get you money back for products that you paid for and it didn?t arrive.
Not very please to help over the phone.
Need more customers service people to work there.

Have been using Makro for years, yesterday 29/10/2024 I drove all the way to Makro to buy my monthly quota of cigarettes, unfortunately none in stock.
Helpful staff advised delivery tomorrow.
Telephoned 30/10/2024 to be advised my product was in stock, drove all the way back down to Makro?s in Charlton only to be told I was unable to purchase cigarettes as I did not have a tobacco licence?
The cigarettes I buy are hard to find so I go there to buy a month?s worth, absolute liberty, devastated.
Where are we living now are we being rationed they are expensive enough anyway!!!!!!

Rubbish store. Old, decrepit store, with limited selection, plus rude, disinterested staff. Service is always very slow and sour. After many years as a Makro customer, today was my last visit ? ever. Took 40 minutes to get out of the store, after queuing twice, only to find we had been charged twice for an expensive item! Avoid this Makro!

Self scan express checkout doesnt work properly. Staff scans customer items one by one.

We worked with Makro, Bookers for years but in the last 3 years is the delivery service is really getting worst and worst. We have 3 restaurants and 3 deliveries per week but there is no one single week that we don't experience an issue. From missing items to receive other restaurant orders. The situation is getting really bad. The manager is available at times but the situation is not changing, for this reason we have decided to write a 1 star review. I don't usually write anything but now i had enough from this company. Yes I am looking to change them.

Transit van parked in disabled bay not displaying a blue badge shame you think disabled ppl no longer exist security to busy standing about chatting to other staff to be bothered. Makro stepped up and DO care thanks Makro
