I recently had a disappointing experience at the Costa Coffee Shop. I was quietly working on my laptop when I noticed that the air conditioning was set to an uncomfortable level. The cold air was blowing directly at me, making it nearly impossible to focus on my work. I approached the manager politely and asked if he could adjust the movement of the air conditioning?specifically, to stop the air from blowing directly on me. I wasn?t asking for the whole system to be turned off, just to make a slight adjustment on one side, as the unit had four sides.
To my surprise, the manager flat-out refused without any consideration, looking me straight in the face and simply saying, ?No.? I found this response both rude and unprofessional. It?s frustrating when a business prioritizes convenience over customer comfort, especially when the request is reasonable and easy to accommodate.
This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I doubt I?ll be returning to this location anytime soon. If you need a comfortable spot to work, I suggest finding another café where customer comfort is actually valued.

The food is delicious and fills me up fast. The service is rather quick from 2 mins to 6 mins food is ready.
The atmosphere can get a little noisy, but overall, this is my favourite cafe. My favourite dish is either the mac n cheese or the ham n cheese toastie. The cappuccino here is absolutely amazing. So are the lattes and frappes.

When placing an order, I was charged one coffee too many. then there is a big problem to return the money to my account. Very unprofessional.

This Costa is quite packed and busy, as located close to a number of supermarkets. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, coffee as expected and the location is good if you fancy a hot drink after the shopping is done!

I visited this Costa on the day of the London Marathon. It was super busy but the staff were polite and helpful, and the toilets remained clean throughout the morning despite the large number of customers. Well done to the team on duty (Sun 21st Apr).

I haven?t been to this store in a while and now I remember why?.appalling behaviour from staff who are extremely rude. I returned my drink because it was not made correctly. The staff member argued with me and said that?s how I asked it to be made. I corrected her and then she started to shout at me. This continued while I ate my food and she proceeded to tell every customer thereafter why she was upset. Then she came to the tables banging and crashing around me and then started to cry and shouting at me again. I have never experienced such poor and appalling behaviour. I normally visit the brocklebank store in Charlton where the service is always amazing. I have made a formal complaint to Costa Head Office.

I like the quality of coffee served here in costa. The service is nice, not much waiting time and plenty of inside and outside seating space. The location is a plus as it is in the Charlton city center.

I love coming to this Costa. Staff are always friendly and helpful. They don?t rush when making your hot drink as in they make it with care and always taste nice and you get a really nice service.
