First time coming here for Sunday dinner after hearing recommendations. Roast pork was superb. I always find pubs gravy very watery but this was one of the best! Friendly staff and good food. Only little critique was the service charge already included as we like to do separately and think people should be given a choice is the only criticism.

Charged my daughter £13.35 for a Shiraz which equates to £40 bottle for an average plonk. On the same bill they stuck a £30 bottle of plonk we never had. Then £32.09 service- what thieves - these people should be prosecuted - DONT GO THERE

We were only drinking. The Sun has a fabulous reputation locally, but it is not a pub, it most definitely sets its stall out as a food destination. All well and good, but it wasn't for me. Beer and Guinness decent.

I had a lovely meal here the other week including a nice cider. It's a bit nicer than most of the pubs in Carshalton. Well worth a visit.

We have eaten here on many occasions and the food is always superb. My Wife's and daughter's burgers were said to be the best the had eaten. My jerked chicken was superb. Plenty of ales to choose from. One of the criteria my daughter selected for moving to the area, was that there was a good pub for food and The Sun fitted this specification 100%.

What an amazing team and local find. We ate there last night and chatted merrily with the staff; they clearly have great management. The menu is not extensive, and I was not too hungry, but managed to fill up on carbs, instead of actually trying one of their specialities! The pub had a super vibe, great music and we will definitely go there again. Well done to the super friendly team

Absolutely fantastic day for Father's day, but this is NOT our first rodeo.
The food was stunning - we had Jerk Chicken and Sea Bass (massive fist bump to the BBQ chef!)
As always, the service, the food and the very fine choices of beer were spot on.
Extra thanks to Garry (the guy even got a cushion for my mum's seat - without us even asking!)
Keep on doing what you do.

The food is tasty and the desserts are delicious. We went for the Father's Day BBQ and was really pleased with the quality of food, the friendly and helpful staff and the general atmosphere. Great pub.

Lovely locally run pub. We went on a Thursday and it's was steak night. We weren't going fie the steak but the lovely manager talked to us about the sourcing and quality so we went for the sirloin. It was delicious, excellently cooked and hot (hate a cold steak!!). Service from our waiting staff member Josie (or was it Jessie - sorry ?) was great. She was attentive, warm and engaging. Especially noted because she had only started recently (she's a keeper ??). All in all, thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will be back!
