Felt really unsafe. Owner held a pair of scissors in a threatening manner blocking the door and I can only assume it?s because I?m black. I hadn?t touched anything or even been rude at all to him.I was visiting London from America and walking by and saw this shop. Decided to walk in and look around. I was there for less than five minutes and was walking out and the owner was standing in front of the door holding scissors in a motion as if to stab someone. I don?t know if he was planning to use them on me or if he thought I was a thief or what but I can only assume he saw that I was black and got scissors, to do what stab me? I don?t know but I really wouldn?t recommend this shop to anyone. From the other reviews he seems extremely rude but also I wouldn?t feel safe in a shop where seeing my skin color someone?s first reaction is to grab a pair of scissors.

Absolutely beautiful antiques, open by appointment & on Saturdays. Bought an original tiled antique Libertys side table. Worth the visit ??

Owner was extremely rude. Tried to sneak by a few people by saying "excuse me". He proceeded to get into my face and tell me "I'm dealing with customers. Can't you see?! You need to wait". I was a bit taken back by the rudeness of his comment and gave a blank stare in disbelief. He then repeated even louder "Do you understand!!?". I said I did, and left. Will not be returning.
