Unfortunately since writing the review below Coop have seriously let themselves down and are now just another Tesco intent on ripping their customers off at any opportunity. I recently noticed that the size of the croissants I recommended below had been reduced and the quality of them was not as good. I contacted @coopukfood who instead of coming clean and telling the truth they said 'This would be due to slight changes in the product development.' Honest sub titles - we have reduced the size without telling you so we can steal every penny out of your pocket for the sake of a few ounces of pastry. Good call Coop you certainly know how to alienate your customers but I guess you are trained to do just that. For that you give me know choice but to give you one star. This is of no reflection on the staff at this store as they totally agree with what I have to say.
Definitely the best 'mini supermarket' in the area. Unlike Tesco's, Co-op looks & smells clean plus their food is of a higher quality. The staff are really friendly and helpful giving a real personal feel to their service. This place has been a god send to locals after suffering with Tesco for so many years. The in store bakery bakes some of the best croissants I have tasted but be quick because they are usually sold out before 12 ;-)
Keep up the good work guys!

Great local foodstore. Freshest whole chickens around. Good cheap wine to go with.

This shop stands out in this area with its friendly, helpful and kind. The only shop that feels like local in the area.

10% discount for students with NUS card + 5% discount with co-op card. Great place to shop for students. Usually have quite cheap meals and some sales on. Narrow aisles but it's usually okay.
