Went to Cex Camden today had a very pleasant experience the store had a variety of different stock from gaming pcs laptops phones and games.the staff were very friendly especially a young Asian who seemed to be the manager on shift who was dealing with a very rude customer who was being racist towards him and his religion however he kept his professionalism and kept his cool . This is how staff at all Cex should be

I'm so goddamn frustrated with this store.. I traveled out my way and extra hour today to pick up some wireless earphones from the Camden town store. There is literally zero chance these earphones were tested to an adequate degree. But earphones have a faulty battery. Left one lasts LITERALY 7 mins before depleting it's entire charge. 90%-0% Right around 30 mins how can people trust anything you see if you can't even test wireless earphones for more than 7mins...

Severed by a guy called Jamshaid and his colleague. Both seemed nice enough and he was understanding of my concerns buying a camera from CEX because I had problems in the past. Happy with my purchase, paid a little over what it sells for on eBay or fb marketplace but I had vouchers to use. It apparently comes with a 5 year warranty but not sure how it will hold up if needed to be claimed for. Hopefully will never need to know :)

Incompetent thieves and crooks.
First drop and go order i sent off I had no response for 10 days, when I went in they said that my order failed, stating all 11 items are fake but I challenged on the spot as bought them from Game and they tested some there and then and said they are real. Took them to another CEX in islington and they passed no bother - they didn't even try
Sadly, tried again and got ripped off. I gave them a near perfect condition Xbox one in box with all original inserts. They downgraded from £68 to £38 and said there was no box? There is a box. Checked online as unboxed devices should be in the same fair/good condition as boxed. The only difference between the two grades is literally the box and it's cardboard/foam inserts. When the staff called to downgrade they didn't inform me that my order of £90 was going down to £63, I thought just the xbox was going down to £63 so they misled me.
Didn't even know what they were talking about when I was on the phone with them either, they said that they don't know why they are downgrading it and then asked what my order number was, why don't they know my order number?

Am so grateful to have been recommended CEX as the staff and service here are simply brilliant - I sold an unneeded monitor as well as some other smaller appliances and was given a great price for each, all very efficiently handled and processed. Huge credit has to go to Hannah, Ayman and Ameer who were extremely professional and friendly each time I went in - each of them are a credit to the business; so much so on my last visit I literally stated I was sad not to have anything else to sell them. All the very best and thanks a million to them each! ??

This store is managed/operated by southasian chaps who would bundle faulty controllers and peel off the sticker / serial code so that they can brush you off when you return to the store to claim that you received it like this. Amazon gives you better consumer rights and less dodgy.

I had a fantastic experience at CEX recently, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Amer. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered honest, expert advice without any pressure.
Amer made the entire buying process smooth and hassle free. His professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out, he clearly cares about customer satisfaction. I left the store feeling confident in my purchase and very impressed with the level of service.

went today to get a 'new' phone. The service was as it always is, very helpful and patient with you.
Unfortunately, alas my fault, I had to go back because I couldnt connect hotspot, but 'forgot' I would need to change / configure a new password. Again the staff were very patient.
I would recommend CEX to get a new phone and especially as they have a wide variety.
