I went in to transfer money as I had a new phone with no online banking and update my ID.
The lady working there said we will set up online banking again. I downloaded the app and explained I was asked last time in the bank to bring my new passport as my old.one expired. First I was told there was no need to update I less I'm purchasing new services, then told why I didn't go to Guildford and then told you can go to Kingston which is so out the way from where I live it's beyond ridiculous. I had my passport in my hand and had to say again please update it. I then clicked on forgot password and clicked on the wrong thing. At that point I wanted to leave and stopped setting it up and asked to please make the request transfers. I collected my passport after they took a photo copy completed the transfers and left. Her manor was aggressive impatient and I will leave this bank in September as the only positive was it being opened on the week end when I'm off work.

Waited 2 hours to invalidate the pending scam charge on account. Came in at 11am and left at 1pm without my issue being resolved. Avoid at all costs

Every time I go in ,I'm kept waiting 20 odd minutes, Because staff shortages or computer systems slow.So I'm on line now.give your self plenty of time if you need to go in.

This bank should not be on the high street they hold onto people?s money for 3 months when you put a check into your account I have reported them to there head office and the FCA

I went in to open an account today. I waited 30minutes (3-3.30pm) when it was fairly quiet. After no update or sign of it being any time soon, I left. Waste of time.

Honestly the customer service in here has always been terrible and still to this day it?s the same. You could have 8 members of staff behind the counter, they will still make you wait in a queue behind one person being served. No staff ever greet you as you walk in, just get stared at or ignored completely. In regards to what they do? it?s not that hard so why is everything so long and slow in here.

Visited Friday Morning, I was probably the only customer in store. I had an issue wanting to join the bank online, and explained this to the man at the desk. I showed him the error on my phone. To which is said he was unable to help with this error while holding onto my phone. But his eyes lit up with joy when I told him I will just go to another bank. Strange maybe he did not want to do much work or have the hassle of looking into my query. Anyway it was this banks loss as I ended up signing up with another completely different bank!
