Not great, I'm afraid. I left a night early, having paid for 2 nights, after my work commitment ended a day early. Usually staying in hotels, even basic, is a bit of treat. This was not. The hotel interior is tired and I was greeted by a horrible set of stains on my floor outside the lift. Bed was ok - comfortable enough though the metal edge is incredibly hard. Corners of the room do not look hoovered and abundance of stains on both windowsill and bathroom ledge.
Some seemingly minor points that turned into real annoyances given all of them happening:
- Paid for wifi and did not go through, so had to repurchase and was not refunded for the original transaction.
- There is absolutely zero customer service. I had to fix the wifi on a general call to Virgin Wifi; no one was ever at the front desk; and I had to ask for mugs, eggs other than scrambled, and cutlery at breakfast.
- The breakfast itself is terrible, frankly. Floppy cheap bread, cheap bread-based sausages, awful watery mushrooms. Even the joy of a hash brown is dimmed by their sad, pasty consistency with a tendency to fall apart. The only positive was the choice of branded yoghurts. I really resented having to pay for it and would recommend going to a local eatery instead; I went to Olive Branch where I had excellent scrambled eggs and proper sourdough.
- I put out my sign well ahead of 11am (as instructed by the door sign in my room) for a 'top up' (change of sheets, towels, and new loo roll). It must have been 8:30am ish as I headed to work. Came back to no change whatsoever.
- There was NOWHERE to hang a tote bag or rucksack. Chair was slippery, hangers not quite right, no side table. Hotels usually have too much furniture, this one has the opposite issue

The staff was really nice, the breakfastcfood was very nice. The room wasn't brilliant. The room was very hot no air. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were hard. The cups and kettle were gritty and had to be washed before using. We didn't have a very good sleep as the room was very warm. There was a fan but couldn't set up during the night.

Stayed 23-25 Aug (Confirmation No. 121310357). We checked out early on 24 Aug because the conditions were uninhabitable.
Issues experienced:
? Cannabis and tobacco smell in both rooms provided
? Soiled bedding with brown stains
? Dirty toilet and no hot water in the shower
? Mould and rubbish in corridors
? Stained desk, unclean kettle and mugs
? Excessive noise despite requesting a quiet room
? Smell of drains around reception
We were forced to leave and book another hotel at additional cost. I raised this at reception. The duty manager confirmed by phone that a full refund would be processed within three working days. That still has not happened. This remains unresolved.
Avoid.

This hotel is very basic for the price but clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee supplied in rooms but no cups. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice but my partner noticed a cockroach crawling across the floor while we were eating. Staff picked it up and placed it in the bin ?

My name is Richard. I recently stay at this hotel for 11 weeks. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The food was ok. The staff were fantastic, so helpful, courteous and very kind natured. I met some great staff members. There was jonathan,carma,leigh,Nathan,ramona,Dana,judith to name but a few. All the staff were great. I would like to thank them all very much. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. The only thing I would change is the food menu. With thanks.

Although staff i encountered were pleasant and the room clean the traffic noise is unbearable. It's on a major busy road and as there is no air con, and the room is hot, you have to have the window open, which only opens a crack! The constant traffic and sirens is quite honestly awful and after a 16 hour day at work and then another early start the next day no sleep was guaranteed. Will not stay again.

Great location for driving in and out of London Central. Staff amazing, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices and afternoon meals also great with plenty of choices. Better than expected from a budget hotel. You will not be disappointed staying at Travel lodge Bromley.

Plesant enough stay. Room was clean and large but bathroom was very small. Get a room at the back as it's much quieter. Main gripe was that the room was unbearably hot in this heatwave and window opened only a fraction. No aircon or fan available. Travelodge need to do something about this. I would return but this experience put be off.

There was no air conditioning and the window was restricted and so the rooms are very hot and uncomfortable in the summer. We received a fan from reception but they didn?t help much!
The rooms at the front of the hotel face a busy road and it is very loud at night. However the rooms at the back of the hotel are much quieter.
The hallways smell quite bad and the rooms are not really deep cleaned. The carpets are stained and everything needs a bit of TLC.
The bed however was quite comfortable!

On arrival, I was made feel welcome. I was happy with my room. It was clean, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. Good supply of fluffy towels. The breakfast supplied was of very good ingredients. Every kind of coffee you could want. But the hotels best asset that couldn't be better was the ladies that served everyone their breakfast . Helpful accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. As soon as one of the dishes got low, i.e., bacon scrambled eggs, etc. A full dish was supplied. My stay was for 3 months. I'd recommend this place to anyone needing a home from home feel. Thank you to all the staff for your welcoming stay. Love Kevin Sheppard
