We have been visiting the Manor for many years now for various family celebrations and sometimes sadly wakes. It is a grand old venue with a quirky set of rooms spaning the ground floor of varying sizes. Unlike modern hotels with splashes of contrived character this is the real deal. Dripping in period features and furnished in quality fittings throughout. It's a hidden gem and well worth considering for any special occasion.

My brother had his wedding there .had really good time. But not worth the money imo this was 5years ago .they had buffet an there wasn't eno food .pple were even going to mcdonalds later on bcoz there were hungry .but we all had good time .amazing how having a good drink can

We provided a roulette and a blackjack table, for an event held in the marquee. Amazing party great venue for 200 plus guests , beautifully decorated. The events team were very helpful in setting up and breaking down times, this was a last minute booking and they did everything to ensure the event was a huge success. Thank you for having us ???????

OK, full disclosure. When I booked this I wasn't sure how this was going to work out. Dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday with our two sons aged eight and 12...The youngest is what is politely termed a 'lively' child with a low boredom threshold and conservative tastes in cuisine. Nevertheless he put on a shirt (at my insistence) and suit jacket (of his own accord because his brother and I were wearing suit jackets) and off we went.We arrived just before our 5pm booking to be shown into the dining room which was completely empty, understandable given it was too late for a lunch crowd and too early, strictly speaking, for dinner.From the moment we walked in it was like a luxe, private fine dining experience. We took our choice of the tables and settled down to the menu.Taco starter for the boys; a smoked salmon dish for my better half and calamari for me.Lemonade - and a glass of fizz for the grown-ups - kept things lubricated and it was just the right wait until the main courses.The lamb I chose came with no sauce, which I thought might be an issue but it was so tender and the accompanying roasted veg so perfect that I wouldn't have had it any other way.My wife was delighted with her seafood linguine and the older lad had to wrestle with a burger the size of his face.The meal for the youngest was a revelation: We assumed he wouldn't much care for the beef in ginger and rice dish he ordered. Instead he went at it with gusto, declaring it delicious and prompting his mother to speculate on whether we could attempt to replicate it at home.The service was just right, attentive but not intrusive. The food was on point. Some might want a little more atmosphere when they eat out. Not us, this was perfect - and we bring our own atmosphere.The bill wasn't small but I'd say it was good really value. The boys want to go back next weekend, which isn't happening!But we will definitely return for the next family celebration / birthday.Thank you to The Manor at Bickley.

Myself and my Husband chose this venue for our wedding last week and we can?t sing The Manor?s praises enough. From our very first enquiry, to the first viewing of the venue, right though until the big day, the staff at the manor have been nothing short of brilliant! Each staff member we came across was polite and accommodating. Special mention to Craig and Vicky with whom we did most of our liaising throughout the months leading up until our wedding. Craig and Vicky were super helpful, responsive and went above and beyond to make sure that we could have the day of our dreams. Even with last minute changes due to the weather, Craig who was just incredible throughout, managed to help us sort a backup plan so our day would still go ahead seamlessly.The rooms at the manor were spacious and modern, giving us and our wedding party lots of space for photographers and videographers to capture the special moments on our wedding morning.The lodge that was used for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready was fabulous. The manor was very flexible in giving us early access so we could get ready on time.The grand marquee was definitely grand! Very spacious and when decorated looked like something out of a fairytale! lots of kitchen space, a huge bar and fantastic overhead speakers for the party!The manor was super flexible to our needs regarding access, start times, outsourcing our vendors and much more. The venue is beautiful and spacious with options for outdoor and indoor events and entertainment. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, so many lovely spots for photos not only for us as the bride and groom but for guests too!A very special thank you to our point of contact throughout, Craig. From our first meeting, he was charming, bubbly and made us feel super welcome. He reassured us that he has experience in African/Caribbean weddings and that our wedding day would amazing and it was. He was attentive and always let us know that he was only a phone call or e-mail away and was always quick to respond and answer any questions we had.All in all, we had the most beautiful day at The manor and we would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding or other events.Nkechi & Harold

We booked Manor at Bickley for our wedding reception after our original venue cancelled on us. Losing the original venue was really disappointing at the time but it was definitely a blessing in disguise!Our guests loved the venue as they were free to explore the grounds and take amazing photos.Craig, the events manager, was a pleasure to work with and very flexible and accommodating to our needs/wishes. Craig is very experienced regarding Asian weddings and so we didn?t have to explain our requirements too much as he already understood once we mentioned it was a Sikh wedding.I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Craig regarding events at the manor as they are able to cater to a variety of requirements.

My friend chooses this venue for his daughter's wedding. Absolutely stunning venue. It is surrounded by lush greenery. The marque was the perfect size. The decor was stunningly done by Kenza Creation. Catering was by non-other than Elite caters.The only thing to complain about was the lack of air conditioning. Unfortunately, I don't have photos to share?only photos I have was of the wedding cake?

Our entire wedding week at the Manor at Bickley was nothing short of perfection, from the moment we signed the contract to the last day of celebrations. With three days of events and our family and friends staying in the Manor Rooms, it truly became the most wonderful week of our lives.The highlight of our wedding was undoubtedly the reception in the Grand Marquee, which exceeded all expectations. Since our wedding was in the summer, we had the pleasure of opening the marquee, allowing our guests to freely wander around the picturesque grounds, adding an extra touch of enchantment to the occasion.Throughout the planning process, our go-to contact, Craig, was a gem. His attentiveness and support were invaluable, and we benefited greatly from his extensive experience in hosting weddings. He made sure every detail was taken care of, ensuring our vision was flawlessly executed.We cannot praise the Manor at Bickley enough and would wholeheartedly recommend it as the ideal venue for any event. I attended an event here. The private bar was meant to open at 6pm but at 6.30 people had given up an went into main bar and paid for drinks. The manager spent the evening in shorts flip flops and a creased shirt he would have looked more at home on the beach! The diet coke served in the bottle was out of date by 3 months and none of the food was labelled or any allergy information on hand!
