I work as a volunteer for Cancer Reseach but took 4 heavy bags to Sue Ryder in Burnt Ash Lane as it is easier to park and drop there. The lady behind the till was not happy when I asked for my bag back, there was not one word of thanks for the items donated and it wasn?t rubbish, many items of good unused China and new clothes.Working in a charity shop I know how important it is not to donate things that are not resealable. All I do expect is a thank you, I know charity shops get inundated with donations but donations keep them going.A thank you doesn?t hurt and is just good manners.

Regularly closing before closing time.Unfriendly and unwelcoming staff.

A popular charity shop with friendly, mainly volunteer staff. A good range of books, for adults and children, clothes and bric-a-brac. They can't take furniture or toys without the CE mark. Good items go quickly so if you see something you like, buy it

It's ok. Never much of interest or quality here, more clothes than anything else. It's big inside so not as cramped as some charity shops.
