Horrible service. Asked the staff member when they close to come back and buy a pair of shoes. They said the closing time is 8pm. Only for me to come back at 7:30pm the same day and find the store closed. Google maps time of closing is 8pm as well. I tried calling 3 times and knocking on door, but no one answered despite the staff clearly being still on site.

Good Sports shop, with a large variety of trainers and sports clothing. The prices for the exact same products are cheaper here, than any other sports retailers. On the whole, the staff are OK, however you can tell that they don't really want to be working there.

We know the basic stuff, sports gear at low prices and that's good BUT... my wife went in to buy two sports t-shirts today. She found both on a rack that was £5.50 each or 2 for £9. When she got to the checkout, the lady serving said it was £11. My wife explained that both items were on the same racking and both carried the 2 for £9 tag, expecting the lady to notice the mistake but was told that one was a v neck and the other wasn't so they were considered different items. That seems off and my wife didn't make a fuss because its only a couple quid but this isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened in a Sports Direct. We had a similar issue in the one in Croydon with a child's tracksuit and the lady explained that the trousers and tops are different items but the manager honoured the price on that occasion. They really need to sort this out. If you pick up 2 items that both say 2 for £x, that should be a match but their "on selected items" is very, I say purposely, ambiguous. I bet they get this issue a number of times a day and while I'm happy to accept that sometimes, often even, the customer is wrong, on this occasion its definitely Sports Direct that are wrong. I don't see how they can have 2 slightly different but otherwise matching items on the same rack for the same deal and it not apply.

Worst customer service I've ever received in my 37 years on this planet. I bought a top that was too small yesterday, brought it back today (the next day!!) And because I'd ripped the stupid tag off which they can so easily replace I was told I can't replace it with a larger size as its missing the tag, so after me making a scene about how bad that is to refuse me as it would be easier for them to stick a tag back on than me walk about in a tight top they gave in with the upmost reluctance to my anger because its not a big issue that they made out. It's a stupid tag!
