Sunday afternoon visit and it wasn't too busy. We were served quite quickly but the service wasn't very attentive. When staff won't make eye contact and stay focused on their device the whole time I find it extremely rude. My daughters calzone was cold and needed to go back to the kitchen to be reheated. My other daughters doighballs were not served and we had to remind staff they were ordered as her starter. My daughters brownie was ice cold, not warmed up at all and rock hard. My chicken starter said it came with rocket, but I had one tiny sprig of wilted rocket. All in all not a great experience at all. Restaurant very cold. Could be warmer food and service needs major improvement.
Edit* after writing this review we were left sitting in a completely empty restaurant for 15 minutes no one came to give us the bill. I made my way to the desk where the manager and a staff member were talking. I waited a few minutes more and they didnt even acknowledge me standing clearly waiting to make payment. Only when I then started to leave, they called after me to pay the bill. I explained to the manager how unhappy I was with the food and the service. The fact we had to return the calzone as it wasn't cooked etc. She huffed and said she will remove it from the bill. I continued to explain that my starter was disappointing and she had the audacity to accuse me of being "confrontational". At that point I said OK we are leaving, and we walked out. I advised her to call the police and she shouted "YOUR FACE WILL BE ALL OVER CCTV" To which I responded "Good luck" and we left.
I have NEVER walked out of somewhere without paying. But this felt absolutely justified. I will be following up with an email to head office over this situation. I was happy to pay for drinks and the food that was satisfactory. But to be called confrontational for merely explaining the issues is diabolical.
I hope they learn from this that you can't treat customers like this!! Absolutely disgraceful. Please avoid this establishment at all costs!

I love this restaurant. I often come here with my child. Excellent customer service, great atmosphere and delicious food. There is always someone paying attention to my child, which is very nice. Great combination Oat Latte Coffee with cheesecake. We were served by Patrick, really knowledgeable and friendly waiter, was very helpful throughout the visit. I sincerely recommend this restaurant

Ive visited this restaurant and been disappointed with the staff and service. Today I ordered ubereats and the portion was tiny compared to at the restaurant and the food was not only lacking in sauce (Pollo Pasta) it was also completely burnt on top and therefore the pasta was crunchy. Very disappointing

Absolutely 5 stars service! We went for lunch yesterday and had an amazing time with my family,and we are definitely coming back! The staff,the food and the atmospher was brilliant! 100% recommended!

Oh my god the food on the pizza Express is the best the tempting pizza and the dough balls ..oh my god really really really good ?? The people are really sweet and helpful.. The chefs were great ??

The staff were absolutely brilliant, the lady that served us was so friendly and the service was fast and the food was delicious , my favourite place to go. It was a perfect place to go with all of my friends.
Dietary restrictions: Some of my friends are vegan or vegetarian so there were a lot of options to pick from.

Amazing experience at Pizza Express on Widmore Road in Bromley, and I just had to share it! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive.
A special shoutout to Chef Joao, whose is fantastic member of staff !! Friendly service and great pizzas.
Overall, the ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or family. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you, Pizza Express Bromley, for a wonderful evening.
