I come here regularly to send my parcels and I?ve not had any issues with customer service. But it probably helps that I am polite and friendly to the shop keepers and so they are in return.

Like the other reviewers, I just had the misfortune of encountering the gentleman with the glasses this evening when I tore the slip - such a crime, you would think the machine wasn't designed to do that!
I tried to lighten the mood with a tongue in cheek comment which I now see riles him further. He proceeded to verbally abuse me stating 'if you can't read that then there's something wrong with you', after accusing me of not caring about other people when he knows nothing about me. I asked if he was going to just have a go at me to which he replied 'yeah, what are you going to do about it'! Erm, sir, are you aware of the era we live in?
1) If you are going to offer a service, make sure that the tools are adequate. Clearly this machine has been defective for a considerable amount of time. Get it fixed or get a new one or don't offer the service!
2) Write a simple, concise sign, don't just stick a number of signs on it, people are doing multiple things at once and can get distracted. Perhaps try 'DON'T TEAR LABEL, PEEL OFF ONLY'!
3) If I have apparently broken the machine by tearing the label, hence the next person can't print, what happens when you put in a new roll?
I certainly didn't intend to break the machine and I doubt anyone else does either. Perhaps try the above points and then get in a huff, oh wait, you wouldn't if you had a machine that worked! Also, before you say it, a working machine would eliminate people making jokes about the situation or your perception of them and their attitude.

Literally the best covienqnce store in London. Couldn?t be more friendly and helpful, you know like how customer service used to be!!!!
Even when I do my Oyster bus pass (which I?m guessing they make little money off) they treat you like you?re spending a grand!

Terrible experience
I accidentally tore off the amazon return label rather than peel as I get easily distracted I apologised and after that the man kept going to the new people in the queue having moaned at me.
When I started to notice that he wasnt progressing the return I made a joke 'are you punishing me', as honestly I literally was then just ignored and he claimed I wasnt in the queue but the queue had started after he has started to attend to me.
Then he got very verbally aggressive and refused carry out the transaction
Agitated and intimidating and funny thing is customers were backing him up when I remained calm throughout no shouting or swearing etc
Clearly a controlling individual and probably sexist to boot
No way of getting any response but had to post this, no doubt they be full of excuses and paint me as the aggressor ?

Exactly the same experience as the many reviews below. Sign says not to tear, this is fine, but when it tears in your hand as you are peeling the label off, what exactly are you meant to do? I was then immediately shouted at by two members of staff, ganging up on me and calling me all sorts of things. Refused to take my parcel because the label tore. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Ive just used the evri return machine for the first time.
I teared the the label off instead of peeling, even though there are large signs not to tear. So my mistake, but then got a mouth full from the owner, telling me to read, read the signs, it really annoys me, when people dont read the sign.
I'm sure he his annoyed , but he is assuming that all his customers can read, and don't have reading difficults.

The most arrogant service I?ve ever experienced. I wanted to send a parcel with Evri, was in a bit of a rush, and didn?t notice the sign. I was called out for it, and I apologized three times, but the worker kept complaining, being rude, impatient, and unsympathetic. To make things worse, he even threw my parcel onto the pile with the others as if it were trash.
If he doesn?t like his job and isn?t satisfied, he should leave. There are plenty of people out there who need work and are willing to do it with excellence.
And I already know the response to this review will be: ?Read the sign.? ?????

I went to return a parcel from Evri, and I tore the excess of paper from the printer, and the guy at the till started being rude, telling me off.
