I had a very bad experience at JJ nails & beauty While getting amber nails done, my nails started bleeding because the technician was too rough. They even broke the skin around my nails. After just four days, my little finger nail broke. I am not satisfied and do not recommend ?? I?ve spent £40 for amber nails, but it was not worth it at all!!

If you are told the card machine is broken at this salon and you need to do a bank transfer into their account DO NOT DO IT! I have just spent the last 2 hours on the phone to my bank getting my accounts unblocked by the Fraud team! Funny how the card machine miraculously started working after the payment was stopped by my bank and the account name now showing on my statement is completely different from the one they tried to make me pay into!
Shame as the pedicure and gel polish I got here today was actually quite nice but I would avoid this dishonest salon at all costs!!

FRAUD - My colleague and I was visiting Bromley today for business and on finishing work early decided we would get our nails done before travelling home. In entering the salon I confirmed with the guy behind the counter that they accepted card as payment. Yes they do. We had a pedicure/gel and infills/gel. On finishing my colleagues nails a lady handed a scrap piece of card (clearly well used) with personal bank details on asking for a BACs payment. I said no and explained I wanted to pay via credit card. They pushed and said that the card machines wasn?t working. My colleague attempted a bank transfer but the bank froze the payment with a fraud alert. On contacting the bank whilst in the store the monies were reversed and the card machine miraculously started to work so we made payment and left.
Tonight the bank account app is still frozen and having a follow up call with TSB they have advised the account isn?t their business account (as advised) and that it?s a fraudulent transaction. What would have been a really nice review for good nails and quality of staff has now been a bad review for trying to not pay the tax man and get it put in to personal as we didn?t have ?cash? :(

The experience was okay. Lovely staff and cute salon, the treatments weren't great. Pedicure with shellac has left one of my toes quite sore and swollen, a few others with jagged ends that catch on my socks ? Builder gel manicure has made my nails look way thicker than usual and the colour has set sort of grubby. Waxing was all good. They were very busy when I went in (Saturday afternoon) so I would try them again at a quieter time.

Very happy with my gel manicure and gel pedicure results. The staff is professional and friendly and the salon is clean and it has a nice atmosphere.

I have only been coming to jjs for a few months and I would definitely recommend them . They are the best nail shop I have tried I?ve been getting my nails done for years and have always left unhappy until I found jjs! They are clean ,friendly and the quality of the nails are excellent!
