It is totally unacceptable that in the cake section they were flying bugs and flies coming out of cakes after the refurbishment that had place.
That demonstrates that they have been serving the same cakes before the start of the refurbishment process.
What is even worse is that I stopped one of the staff member to sell one cake full of ? ,in front of me,( ?i told him hey hey don t sell this cakes and nothing from here anymore as your section is full of bugs and flies ?), and have been told off by Vicky who was at the counter today, after she visible got angry, that i should not shout about it. I never shout in the shop, i just mention what is happening.
She then start mocking about me and i called the manager, he tried to lye to me telling me that she is not speaking English, and just to leave it because they will throw away the cakes, then i payed for 2 coffes and he gave me 10 procent discount.
It is obviously that neither the manager didn?t know how to react, as they start taking cakes out, flying bugs start spreading in the shop.

Totally disgusting. I was waiting in the queue to get a coffee and I witnessed something unbelievable in the Bromley shop. Another customer, in front of me, noticed plenty of flies sitting on the deserts and flying around in the desert fridge, and he asked a member of staff not to serve that to the customers because it is not proper hygiene. A minute later, he was given an unfair treatment by the blonde lady named Vicky(on her badge), saying he was shouting in the store, when he actually politely asked them not to serve the contaminated deserts to a customer. She refused to serve him and the manager on duty had to intervene to calm down the situation. I've been coming to this shop for the past 7 years and I never experienced something like that. Please, be careful if you go here, as they don't seem to respect the food hygiene standards and if you call it out, they will give you an unfair treatment. As a witness, I will be making a complaint to the head office and to Bromley council, and, hopefully, the issue will be addressed.

Costa?s in Sevenoaks has been a great place to have lunch. The staff are very friendly and helpful, sometimes the choice of sandwiches is limited but that is rare. The restaurant has recently had a refit and the atmosphere there is very good

They wouldn?t accept a perfectly valid north Irish pound sterling note. Two staff members blissfully unaware that the UK currently administers six counties in Ireland, and that they use UK sterling! Ridiculous!

I definitely recommend this Costa for a fast service lovely coffee and the nice view. I visit once a day and am happy with the quality and especially the service from Kaiti and her team.

I?ve been there yesterday afternoon. I drank a watermelon and mint refresher and bought a bottle of water. The service was very quick. The staff were friendly. And the atmosphere is nice enough. I can?t have any complaint. Oh yeah and the price I paid was pretty friendly in my opinion.
