I recently had my daughter?s ears pierced at Claire?s and purchased earrings from the store at the same time. Within just one week, the earrings broke. I went back to the store, and while the staff replaced them, the replacement pair broke the very next day.
When I contacted Claire?s customer service for a refund, I was told that due to the company?s administration, they are unable to provide refunds and instead suggested I try to claim via my bank or submit an unsecured claim in their administration process.
This is extremely disappointing ? not only was the product faulty twice, but the company is unwilling to take responsibility for poor quality items. I would not recommend Claire?s for piercings or jewelry, as both the product quality and aftercare are unacceptable.

Mixed experience piercing my baby?s ears.
The staff member was kind and patient, but hygiene and attention to detail were lacking. I had to ask several times for the ear markings to be adjusted for symmetry ? it?s important to get this right, so don?t hesitate to speak up. It took a long time to prepare both piercing guns, which agitated my baby, and after the piercings, one stopper didn?t insert properly. This led to several more uncomfortable minutes trying to fix it while her ear was already tender and she was in pain.
The most concerning part was hygiene: the main piercer did not change her gloves after touching various surfaces ? something I only noticed when her assistant changed hers. I was honestly appalled that such basic hygiene and training was lacking. For something as sensitive as a baby?s ear piercing, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this Claire?s location for young children. If you do go, be vigilant about hygiene and ensure they follow proper protocols

The store is always filthy! Would NOT trust getting a piercing done here! Heard about so many people getting infections due to poor hygiene and also being pierced the wrong way. They say you can pierce over scar tissue when you CANNOT as that can cause a keloid. They have no clue what they?re doing

Click and collects never ready when they are meant to be and I've never received my full order from this store. It would appear they don't update the system properly as items often show as being in stock in this store when they are not. On top of that I often have to wait DAYS instead of the advertised 2-4 hours for my order to be ready to collect, anf that's if they bother at all. My last click and collect order I had been waiting 4 days to get a confirmation so I went in store to ask about it and it seemed like my order hadn't even been looked at, let alone prepared. With the price of stuff from Claires I think its fair to want at least decent service.

My 10 year old wanted to get her ears ? pierced and we heard many bad things about the Isle of Wight Claire?s branch. Many of my daughter?s friends got their ears pierced there and ended up with an infection due to poor hygiene at the islands branch of Claire?s.
We visited the Bromley store and watched couple of girls getting their ears pierced. Since I come from a medical microbiology background I?ve been watching ? the sterilisation process and seeing how this particular store was preventing infection. I was very happy with what I saw and decided to get my girls ?? ears pierced here.
Ravéné was so friendly and helpful. She went through all the important info such as after care too. She was very thorough when it came to infection control and prevention which is a big must! My daughter was excited but also extremely anxious ?. Ravéné even got her own ear pierced to reduce Yasmin?s anxiety and gave her the courage.
Ravéné is so patient and friendly. I highly recommend you to get your piercings done by her as she is the best! You are in very good hands with her. Thank you so much Ravéne! ?
She is so good Claire?s you need to give her a pay rise! She goes above and beyond! 10 pit of 10 customer service !

Bad service - my sister took my daughter to get her ears pierced - they refused her as she wasn?t her parent - so as the parent I came to sign the form but they still refused as I could not stay. My sister is trusted fully as my daughter?s guardian when I?m at work. They have bad attitudes in there and it?s filthy. Lucky really as they would have most likely got infected.

Please do not get your children's ears pierced here. There are plenty tattoo and piercing studios in Bromley town that will do this... I want to start out by saying that I visited this store on 27/12/23. I just went in to have a look and noticed a child getting her ears pierced. I was intrigued to watch the procedure they take at Claire's as I've heard some horror stories. Ok so the piercer (had blonde hair tied up) done everything hygiencally wrong. The first thing she done was put on gloves and proceeded to set up the equipment which was all done correct. However, she was talking to the child and showing the child her own piercings on her (the piercer's ears). In doing so, the worker touched her own ear lobes for quite some time all whilst wearing those gloves. She then proceeded to put the jewellery in the ear gun without changing the gloves that she used to fiddle with her own ear lobes. I watched on as I was disgusted. The lady then walks over to the till area to get a pen (which she picked up from the side, all whilst wearing the gloves she is going to pierce in)... This is so unsanitary and I will be reporting this to trading standards.

Me and my daughter loooove claires. If she could have everything in the store she would? The manager Vanessa is one of the nicest, most patient women. Everytime we go in there she is attentive and caring towards my daughter who is autistic. Love the Bromley branch xx
