So been here a few times , and have to say for getting a pint , service was very good , had no trouble as all. But like most Spoons the mens toilets are disgusting, hopefully the Kitchens a little better. Sort the toilet floor out please. If the Toilets are dirty , my wife wont eat the food. ???????

As an ale drinker I appreciate that the staff at Wetherspoons always seem to know how to properly pour a pint. Given the barge is one of the best value pubs in the area ( followed only by the Royal George (Sam smiths)) their guest cask ale is consistently high quality and expertly kept, and often nicer than more expensive pubs in the area. As usual Wetherspoons have good vegan options on the menu and the staff as always are friendly and professional.

great place to go for reasonably priced food and drinks.

Not a bad spoons, but loses points on the musty smelly carpet which desperately needs a wash.
As you walk in there?s a smell and feel of old, grimy, musty beer filled carpet and old alcoholics sit in there all day. It?s a little depressing.
Sitting outside in the sun can be nice however and has a holiday feel to it.
The breakfast is decent, classic spoons so not the best quality but cheap. They forgot some of my order so I had to ask for it and they got it wrong.

I ordered the traditional breakfast and it came literally Luke warm after about a 15min wait for it the beans where basically cold.The chef need to do better. Good value for money though but need to be hot when served.
