Absolutely terrible teachers are the worst my daughter tried to to explain and show the teacher why she didn?t do her homework her phone was making noises so she was trying to turn it off And put it in her pocket and the new teacher going by the name of miss neely took her phone on a Friday and said she couldn?t get it until Monday which I?m not 48hrs but 2 days absolutely disappointed ?

I cannot speak highly enough of the school and in particular the leadership of the head and her team. There is vision and expectation for the girls education. The school has such a welcoming and loving atmosphere twined with good discipline and genuine values.

My daughter is very happy at St Martin's. The school has transformed and is a very special place for all the girls. The new uniform was a statement of change and the internal improvements to parts of the school including classrooms and the social space, which I understand is called the Plaza, has given an older building a modern twist. The headteacher is approachable, supportive and has a clear vision for the school. My daughter is going into year 10 next year and I know that she will do very well. I applaud the headteacher and all the staff of St Martin's for making my child feel valued and confident that she will achieve in her studies. I have no hesitation in recommending this school, for girls of all faiths or for girls who have no faith, everyone is welcomed and embraced as equals. I also recommend you visit the school, look at a very informative and attractive website and the performance tables that show the school is doing well compared to other Lambeth schools. You should also read the two very positive inspection reports that praise the work of the headteacher in transforming the school and the results of the girls who are achieving well and go on to succeed at sixth form and university. Thank you to all the staff for their dedication.

Huda, in reply to your post, I think it would have been proper for you to tell the whole story of how year 11 ( which your daughter was among) how they pulled a prank on one of their teachers, simply they got to find out something about her,is that how students should repay their teachers?Yes, they had to send them home as punishment as why disturb other students, simply because they've finished their exams? So I think your comment is unfair. The world is what it is now, simply because the young adults lack discipline & we parents don't seen to want to correct the wrong doings of our kids. This school has come a long way & is improving daily, my daughter finished from the school & doing well in the Uni. So please always be sincere in all you do or say, as it can bounce back, someday.

In response to your comments 'unnamed google user' I just wanted to point out that the school cannot take down any comments or reviews, they don't have power to do that. The only way a comment can be removed is if the person themselves remove it or Google deems it offensive. Rather than hiding your name why not use the correct complaints procedure so that your concerns can be addressed properly? Every school has it's challenges and St Martins isn't exempt from that, but it's turning around. Why not be part of the solution rather than part of the problem?

The teachers stretch and encourage everyone to do their absolute best, all staff members are very approachable including the senior leaders in the school. This creates an environment which makes it easy for students, teachers and parents to work together. St Martin's is a true community that molds girls into young women who are assets to their families and the wider community. My daughter is very happy to a part of St Martin's. Mademoiselle Bajer is one of the best teachers there, I personally believe that she cares about my daughter and pushes her to do her best.

My daughter attends this school, and I think that it has improved over the years. St Martin?s is a friendly community, which accommodates and welcomes all diversities. As a father, I can truly say that I am proud of the progress my daughter has made through the school.

St Martins is a really good school there have been a number of improvements over the years which have really benefited the students. Had some bad press in the past but think that it's leadership is taking the school in the right direction.
