I booked a windscreen chip repair, and paid in advance online. When I attended the appointment it turned out the repair couldn't be done due to the location of the chip. I was advised I would receive a refund within 3 days. One month and several phone calls to customer service later and I still haven't received the refund, and have now been advised that I need to attend the store in person to secure the refund. Very poor customer service.

Frustrating experience. I bought roof bars and paid for them to be fitted by Halfords. They fitted them the wrong way around which I didn?t notice initially so have had to go back to get them refitted. Unfortunately the customer services cannot book a specific time or connect you to the store so you have to hope that they can redo the job when you go back again which unfortunately they couldn?t. Haven?t been offered a refund for the fitting yet and have to go back again to try and get the problem fixed.

Don?t even bother going here if you have an electric bike - I needed to get my real wheel spokes replaced! Would of saved me a 1 hour trip going Halfords if they mentioned that they don?t touch electric bikes that haven?t been bought from Halfords.PS. Decathlon happily helped me and fixed my rear wheel.

The items I ordered are exactly what I need, a 5W solar battery maintainer and associated lead. The panel was delivered free to my home but the associated lead, on their website as ?frequently bought together? is not available for home delivery so instead of sticking it in the same package I had to drive 45 minutes to the nearest store to pick it up, and 45 minutes back. Why not deliver both ?????!!!!!

Excellent service at the Brixton store on the evening of 28/11/2023. Despite a steady stream of customers the young lady on the till greeted everyone with a smile. Unfortunately my click and collect item was wrong but she changed it for the right one with no bother! Good work ;)

Dreadful! Bought my bike at the store in August 2022 and paid £60 for 3 years servicing. You can?t call this store directly so on 3rd November I booked a service for 10am on Saturday 18th November via their customer service phone number. When I arrived today, I was asked if I had booked directly via the store (to which I replied ?How? You don?t take phone calls?) and then told they?d need to speak to the manager to see if they could fit me in as they had over 40 services booked in for the day. When Dorian, the poor guy behind the desk, returned from a chat with the manager (who I never got to see), he told me that they could take it in but that they wouldn?t probably get round to doing the service for at least a month. When I asked why I?d been allowed to book via their customer service, I was told that the people at the end of the phone shouldn?t be doing bookings. When I expressed my disbelief at this farcical situation, the man behind me in the queue started telling me how bad his experiences had been and that this kind of thing was normal. He said he?d brought his E-bike in for services booked in advance only to be turned away because the technician down to do the work wasn?t in that day. After he?d told me this, I demanded my £60 back and Dorian refunded me. I told him that none of this was his individual fault but that I would never be spending money at Halfords ever again. I have to say that I think the manager is pretty cowardly for not coming out to speak with me himself and that Halfords clearly doesn?t care about its customers if they just book in services regardless of availability. A morning wasted. Thanks, Halfords - you?re an utter joke of a business!

Good range and friendly staff but over the last 3 times I?ve been In here I?m yet to wait any less than 10 minutes in the queue to pay. I?ve seen glaciers move faster.Please, improve your store management or get some self checkouts - it?s got to the point where I loathe visiting because of how much time I end up wasting.

Hello, I just have to say that they are scammers, no one shows their face, no one knows how to say anything, and I bought an electric bike 6 months ago. It cost me £1,300 out of the 6 months that I had the bike. It has worked for 3 and exaggerating because other months have only passed. Being fixed in the store now, a week after supposedly opening it, it was damaged again and after 1 month without anyone giving me an answer, I'm going to see what happens and they tell me that it's not there and I have to wait 1 more month because there have been 2 damages, damage that I can't explain if it's new and I only use it to go from my house to my work 30 minutes a day I don't understand anything and no one shows their face they just keep telling me that it's not their fault that it's a matter of luck yes It turns out well at a good time, if not bad luck, but when they sold it to me they said that it was the last bike, the best one without any problems and as if my money was not worth it or I had asked them for gifts, what they are are lying thieves, that is a damage of factory should be more aware and give me my money back or exchange me for another one but what's the point, not that it's rubbish?

Halfords staff are always so helpful.But today the young lady who served me, was amazing, her enthusiasm and genuine feel good happy demeanour, had me walking out of the store with a big smile on my face.I didn't catch her name otherwise I would of course had given her a shout out.All in all a great visit to Halfords Brixton

Booked in for a free bike assessment and also needed some other things sorted (taking pannier rack off and putting new pedals on).Corey is really knowledgeable and friendly, he helped sort out my bike really quickly, mending a tire, removing pannier rack, replacing my pedals and gave some good advice about a potential e-bike purchase.Definitely recommend Brixton site to anyone wanting to buy a bike / get repairs done on an existing one - if Corey is working then you?ll get 5/5 service.

Was served by Bea,Was so helpful and gave very helpful advice and she's got great outstanding customer service. Fit in service was Corie. Very polite and changed my wipers and bulbs. Very satisfied with the whole service.
